Butterfly searching for the perfect chair..Goldilocks zone. Colored pencil, watercolor and ink.

The Super Bloom is still going in SoCal! On the trail are poppies, daisies, alyssum and now the mustard grass is in bloom. My process was an iPhone photo, then a drawing with color and then collage in Photoshop.

Loose watercolor Floral

Somehow the tree trunk looks like a female figure to me. I'm not sure if I really like this illustration, but my imagination plays here a lot. I could draw a bit lighter background to make more contrast for the tree trunk. What do you think?
