Jury Duty, June 2013
Fifty of us sat in that room, each one staring at a phone or scribbling in a notebook, killing time. The lawyers asked their questions, picking us off one by one like a slow game of dodgeball. I wasn’t chosen, so I drew instead—earbuds, slouched shoulders, the hum of waiting caught in a few quick lines.
The word “backwards” in reverse would sound, I’m fairly certain, like something along the lines of ‘straw cab’ I’m presuming?
Anyway, that was what randomly prompted me today to get cracking on with some art, heheheh.
At the end of all this self-isolation, I have no doubt folks will be as hungry as that Dalmatian pupper I named this piece after. Hungry for some actual social interaction in our cases, that is...
Rabbits thorns and moons. I usual don’t know where I’m going when my pen touches down. The illustration took me for a ride and I’m not gonna lie. I kinda enjoyed it. As it progressed, it felt like an album cover so why not?
Ps i hadn't drawn Maxwell since in the Instagram era + Ps secord time drawing Maxwell from R/flamingofanclub reddit someone's abandoned Styrofoam head oc I adopted for 4 years originally named deadly soul / "Felipe's emo son" in the Instagram era last time was oct 13th (hiz bday day) last tine was 2024 instagram era if u remembered me hi aka i last draw him an another 364 days later / not the very first time drawing Felipe's emo son but this came lafe due to collage accepted me :D

Red Guy from Cow and Chicken. This was a request on my DA account and I actually feel proud of this one. I had a lot of fun drawing him and coloring him in.
