After a couple of years of inactivity i started drawing again, my sweet lady was the victim.

Pastel on pastelmat, one of my favourite cats: the Somali. First attempt to draw a cat in pastel, almost a year ago.

A pen and ink image designed for a holistic children's and adult's therapy services (CATS) practice in Leicester, UK. Brief was family, together, love, support. After many abstract versions they decided on this image because they felt it was more approachable, in line with their practice ethos and fun.

Haven't posted for a while, I've been crazy busy but also feeling pretty flat to be honest so I've been drawing weird little floppy cats to cheer myself up a bit. Today one of them made it onto the back of my drawing board. Acrylic paint and sharpie markers :)

Copic & ink, finished in Photoshop.

Based on a photo. Colors: ultramarine deep (pb29), cadmium yellow medium (py35) and madder lake red light (pr187)

A cat doodle I made a while ago.

Sketchbook drawing with some digital color added in procreate. Seriously, that cat is probably evil.

Sketch was completed in a local coffee shop that also sells cactuses and succulents.

This started of as a simple doodle that became a bit more complicated. I used copic liner,gold ink and a bit of watercolor for shadowing.
