This is my cat lemon! I used charcoal and pastel chalk pencils for this piece.

An illustration of Catwoman from DC Comics. I was in the middle of a number of other pieces and had no intention of drawing Catwoman, but this exact composition somehow popped into my mind out of the blue. Sometimes these things just come to me and I have to do something about it. It basically turned out as I first envisioned it, maybe better. Catching scenes from the Durga Puja celebrations

This is my attempt to draw my cat. It looks nothing like her but at least it looks like a cat.

Inspired by one of my cats who is black with bits of tortoiseshell coming through. I used black ink and apricot Crayola crayon for this.

Back in May, I wanted to do the #mermaychallenge, an online event where artists draw and share their mermaid illustrations during the entire month of May. But I knew I had limited time, with everything happening that month (buying new home/moving/fixing up the old home to sell), and a fulltime job. I created Mer-Kat, a hybrid kitten/mermaid. I felt this was such a fun new character to explore. Life underwater with a feline-based personality.

After a couple of years of inactivity i started drawing again, my sweet lady was the victim.

Pastel on pastelmat, one of my favourite cats: the Somali. First attempt to draw a cat in pastel, almost a year ago.

A pen and ink image designed for a holistic children's and adult's therapy services (CATS) practice in Leicester, UK. Brief was family, together, love, support. After many abstract versions they decided on this image because they felt it was more approachable, in line with their practice ethos and fun.

Haven't posted for a while, I've been crazy busy but also feeling pretty flat to be honest so I've been drawing weird little floppy cats to cheer myself up a bit. Today one of them made it onto the back of my drawing board. Acrylic paint and sharpie markers :)
