Superstition : Cigarettes. The superstition that it is bad luck to light three cigarettes from one match appears to have originated during the Boer War. It was said that a sniper could spot where men might be as the first cigarette was being lit, take aim as the second was ignited and fire with deadly effect at the third. Horse eye done in graphite. Took about 3 hrs to complete. I’m really happy with how it turned out, but this was my first time doing a detailed eye so I would love to hear what you guys think!

Joey Diaz is a Cuban-American comedian who was on the Joe Rogan Podcast (for the 1000th time). Shown here smoking a blunt that created a cloud in the podcast studio. Always a fun face to draw.

"Beauty of Hope" as one of the original painting I donated to charity and it was auction in exhibit. It was one of my favorite painting so far. I used koi watercolor and a fabriano 200 gsm paper. Most of the color I used are blue, green, light green and yellow and a bit of orange. The metallic gold paint was one of the color that added flavor to the painting.

One of our most popular artists is Juan Jose Sanchez. He has a unique and recognizable style that is very aesthetically pleasing. Sanchez’s artwork can brighten any room and truly make you feel like you just stepped into the forests of the island.

Trees in a reflection have always been a subject of interest to me. I have created several of this version, trying to fine-tune my skills and explore some opaque techniques.

Starting today is Chinese new year holiday, and 2020 is a "mouse" year! I don't wanna do rat so...dipodidae counts right(wink).
