Just a drawing I did of a veterinarian and a dog she takes care of. The blue and orange color scheme was really fun to work with.

This is watercolor using the negative painting technique where you paint around your subject using multiple layers which creates depth. This has greater than 8 layers of watercolor washed around the tree shapes

I'm sad that Oompa Loompas aren't real -- but if they were, I'd probably be terrified of them.

This was a commission for portraits of 2 dogs using watercolor for the dogs and acrylics for the background. Painted on Aquabord which makes the watercolor so saturated that they appear opaque

I feel kind of lost these days... I am an artist, this is who I am and this is the only thing I wanna be, but can I really do it? Can you do this, even though everyone around you say it's impossible? Other people may see my job as a dream job, but I hate it.. all I want to do is create, be an artist, be me. But is it really possible?...

This painting/ drawing is started in the Abstract with forms created organically. I used Acrylics and applied them liberally as you might use in watercolor techniques. I love challenging myself to create in this form, as I do in finding the figures which may form themselves in the process. I then detail the figures in a drawing style to enhance and bring it forward. Fun colorful friend

Just a page trying to depict the rainforest and road. I got lost in trying to draw the vegetation. I felt frustrated about this drawing at the time, but now I like it.

Cowboy portrait from one of my old sketchbooks. I did more pencil sketching in the past, but eventually moved into ink and watercolor. I like to experiment with different styles and mediums.
