Tundra walls reveal a sickened creature on the edge of life. In time of passing, lost to history, but restored in the mentions of Earth. A darkness in last waves, but a reflection on the happiness, the loves of ones life respected and acknowledged.

Inspired by the one and only Prince of Darkness (Ozzy Osbourne). I listened to a L O T of Ozzy while drawing this one. So He's definitely the sole inspiration for her.

Fifth Sorrowful Mystery: The crucifixion. I made the water and blood appear sorta as when Jesus appeared in the Divine Mercy devotion. Indeed a great act of mercy, his head is leaning towards the Good Thief, St. Dismas, to show his mecy towards him, the other thief refused (Gesmas). We also have St. John the Apostle, St. Mary Magdeline, Our Blessed Mother and St. Longinus, the roman soldier who pierced Jesus' heart with the Holy Lance. St. Longinus was healed spiritually the water and blood that poured forth by this act and believed, proclaiming Jesus to truly be the Son of God. "And when they came to the place which is called The Skull, there they crucified him, and the criminals, one on the right and one on the left. And Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do' ...It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, while the sun's light failed; and the curtain of the temple was torn in two. Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, 'Father, into thy hands I commit my spirit!' And having said this he breathed his last" (Lk 23:33-46). Drawing made using multiple colored pencils and black fineliners. The inspiration came from spilling ink over a page. This way I imagined something dark covering colors bit by bit.

The First Glorious Mystery: The Resurrection! While Jesus' body was entombed he descended into the Underworld in order to free and bring to heaven all the righteous that died before Him. Jesus is victorious over death, Robed in Heavenly white, He is surrounded by a mandorla of star-studded light, representing the Glory of God. Christ is shown dramatically pulling Adam, the first man, and Eve from the tomb. Jesus does the work, that is why He is pulling Adam from the tomb by the wrist, and not the hand. Surrounding him are Holy Men and Women of the Old testament and who died before. St. Joseph is also there almost saying to the others "That's my boy! :)" Haha. John the Baptist and King David are present. On the other side we have little Abel next to Eve, Judith with her sword, Esther in royal purple and Ruth. I'd like to include even more but I'll need a much bigger piece of paper or canvas. :P This Icon is also called the "Harrowing of Hades" “Harrow” comes from the Old English word used to describe the ploughing of a field with a cultivator which is dragged roughly over the ground, churning it up. In the icon, Christ is shown with the instrument of His death plunged deep into Hades. Beneath Christ’s feet – which still carry the marks of His crucifixion – lay the gates of Hades, smashed wide open in the shape of the Cross. Christ has trampled death by death. Within the dark underworld are scattered broken chains and locks; Hades is not destroyed – it is still there – but its power to bind people is gone. There are no chains, no locked doors. Christ is always there to lift us from the darkness of this world. In a world where it feels dark, look for the light.

In with disease, a focus in depression, a fear in death, departure along with tundra moon follows. Unveil whisper to engage these thoughts down the darkness. A vessel alone, not kin to wish a farewell nor goodbye. He died alone.

Damaged creature that state removal of these motions further. Compose darkness on these travels of dismay. Not Kin nor friends aware, silent departure a motion delightful.

Land of darkness.

The darkness of the night with very little spaces for the lights. This is one of that moments when you can feel yourself little.

Darkness filled with suicidal motions, a death of a little girl, tears in poverty, and madness further. What shivers await? Alien life forms compose a last symphony.

No matter how dark things get, hold on to the Light of Hope! Even if you seem to be surrounded by shadows, know that you have people and spiritual beings that care about you. Your Guardian Angel is always by your side and your Father is always watching you, silently, lovingly. All you have to do is reach out. Cry out and listen in the silence of your heart. Nourish the light inside and it will grow until your eyes are healed from the blindness this world gives. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Suddenly the light goes out and staying in the dark is a test of resistance, but when everything seems lost, it turns on again, so simply: sometimes a single attempt isn't enough, there are many moments to spend without light, but you don't have to be afraid of it, because sooner or later we will succeed in the undertaking and it will make you smile as the thing that seemed so difficult came spontaneously, it was enough not to force the process. I hate the darkness because it shows me a version of myself that I would never want to meet, yet if I accept that the punches of life in some periods are stronger than others, sometimes leaving bruises and burns, but that life itself has granted me caresses like this sweets that I would not have appreciated without going through pain, then everything around me will seem golden.
