Koala at the zoo. Sketch meetup with my studio art friend Kathy. The zoo may be closing here in a few weeks under the governor's new coronavirus prevention order. That will suck! I take my son every Monday. Our zoo has really beautiful, lush gardens.

This oil painting was , for me, an explosion of a new freedom I found after finally getting a home nearly 40 years ago, a room with a sink and a bed and a window. I hadn't painted for years, and never without extreme self-consciousness. But years of homelessness changed me and my appreciation of "art". That freedom eludes me these days, that 'ignorant' notion that I can do whatever comes to me. I'd love to get it back. Surely it's in us all. It may be better to paint to be satisfied than to paint to satisfy...

The bird vs bird are on both trees. They're about to fight, but they actually didn't. Instead they had a normal day.

This little book had several tiny squares/rectangles per page. At first I didn't know how to fill it (2017). Eventually I sketched trees, scenes, birds, animals I'd seen during a days walk. It accidentally became a diary of seasons! Not all my art is nature sketching, I'm a watercolor artist as well. But line and pen drawing, halftone is what I've been up to for a while.

When we help someone there is always something that blooms and grows beyond us. It is an increasingly necessary action in a world that unfortunately is increasingly divided. @givingtuesdaypt challenged me to illustrate its movement inspired by this year's motto "Together we change the world"! This day is celebrated on the first tuesday after BlackFriday, calling on anyone to choose a cause that ressonates with them and give back to them however you can. Thus, a wave of massive generosity is created, which can (and should) extend beyond today! Are there any organizations you want to support? : .

Spent a little time over the Thanksgiving holiday trying out Dr.Ph. Martin's colored inks! I had a little trouble mixing the yellows but for the most part they were a joy to work with. Reference from Unsplash.

Gone are the days when we just spend time with nature and just listen to our walkmans. No internet, no phones.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Here are five of the shorter animatronics, which take up the main stage! There are three sections of the stage, like the Rock-afire Explosion's original stage! The animatronics are all different animals, like usual. They even have different teeth! The first animatronic's name is Preistor, and he's the blue rabbit. He plays guitar. Then we have Elizabeth, a hot-pink cat, and she's the female singer. Then we have Altor, a yellow bear. He plays the drums. Then we've got Bruce, a green mouse, who's the male singer. Finally, we have Lexibo, a purple elephant. She plays the piano. They were created by Jester (Dellusion was created by Jester, too) for entertainment. Unlike FNaF, there are no dead kids possesing these guys. At least, none relating with Jester and his crew. Actually, they're vessels for lost spirits! They've been specifically engineered for lost souls to posses them. However, in the day, they act wonderfully for entertainment. Don't be frightened by the absence of eyes! They're always watching with those little cameras in their mouths. These guys, including Jester and Dellusion, were inspired by the funtime animatronics from FNaF SL. Drawn with FireAlpaca. Pink is still a style icon today, and who could forget her songs? This is an ink portrait I hope to finish soon.

I feel like I haven't made any actual art in a while, let alone actually said anything about anything. It's been a long week, in both good and bad ways. First off, I was accepted into college, and then (for lack of better words) I accepted my acceptance to that school (I'm officially a Blue Demon!). Gymnastics is shut down, which I feared would happen, due to the rising cases in IL. It'll be closed at least until after the holidays, which scares me, but it is what it is (I wish people would just follow guidelines and wear masks)... I've been frustrated lately, mostly artistically. I go through times where I'm not satisfied with anything, nothing is good enough but all I want to do is create. There are a few larger projects I've been working on in the background, two for school and one personal. The personal one I haven't had much time to work on, but I'm hoping I will over the next few days (since I'm on break.) So yep. Lots of moving parts right now. Anyway, I hope everyone has a safe Thanksgiving!
