Grungy doodle of the day. I felt inspired to do something smudgy and decorative and colorful.

There are some things I’m so grateful for in 2018 and then there was a lot of stuff that I would love to go away. So this is my farewell art. There’s nothing random in this doodle but I’ll keep most of it to myself. Let’s hope for a way better 19.

Doodling is what I do. It's a way to make visible the randomness that's in my head - just drawing out a concept right when it comes to mind and scribbling on whatever I can find.

Some crazy Moleskine doodles for the day. I haven’t been doing enough of these and really need to kick my butt harder. Not sure why because it’s so dang enjoyable.

To do list. I usually hate them but this one was kind of fun.

Doodles and notes I started at a regional NJ chapter of SCBWI conference this past weekend. Then just kept adding stuff to the page this week. I learned a lot and met some great people. Looking forward to June!

Stream of consciousness drawing and doodling is always therapeutic. I love starting down a trail and not knowing where I will end up.

Sometimes I just have to draw hungry marshmallow slurping monsters.

Nature is where you become a true you, it's a place to disconnect from the world and to feel so connected to it at the same time.

The town gets a little crazy when King Kong shows up.

Mixed media. Acrylic, pencil, digital. This is a piece from the book “Mail Me Art - Medium Without A Message” by @littlechimpsociety. I think it was the second call for entries/book.There are now 4 books filled with awesome art drawn and painted on outsides of envelopes and packages by artists all over the world who then mailed them to the UK totally exposed to the postal service. The original was all analog. I brought this into Procreate and reworked it. I may do more when I get a chance but I’m pretty satisfied with it now.

Created this before my trip to Japan. Combination of my characters and japan inspired stuffs. Japan was awesome!

The new Hasselblads are so dang out of my range! I can't even swing a used one. This is the first time using the oil brush in @procreate on a final illustration. I have to admit i didn’t want it to end.
