I have long been fascinated by the vision of a campfire in a dark forest and I have drawn a few versions of it with different results. This is the latest attempt

Sometimes I feel like my drawing is similar to composing music. I start drawing just something and hope that it begins its own life. In this drawing i start from the clouds and doesnt have any idea what it is gonna be at end.

A few drawings/paintings from my class this week. I like to work alongside my students.

Created this before my trip to Japan. Combination of my characters and japan inspired stuffs. Japan was awesome!

Experimenting today with an oil transfer drawing technique. The red and purple lines are oil drawn/transferred to hot press 140 pound watercolor paper with watercolor applied. The oil resists the watercolor.

In the migration seasons the geese and swans fly for the night to the sea get safe rest .And playing with positive and negative spaces

Tiny starflowers under trees are one part of macig at Finnish woods. This works point is more at illusion than realism

"Contemplation of the Jump" - drawn & colored in Escape Motions Rebelle. My drawings are pretty random, but after I make them I think about them a bit... like... what is that girl in that cave room thinking and why is he going to jump? I should probably know the answers... but I don't.

Birds bikes and bells. It started as a quick bike doodle and then I got carried away. I kinda like getting carried away. I seldom know where it will end up.

Three islands filled with people all alone out by the sea, You see, I'd love to join them but there is no room for me. That one guy climbed too high - I think they call him "Clumsy Paul?" Soon there may be room for me... I'm just waiting for his fall.
