I drew this in a sketchbook a few years ago (2022) and found it again. I wanted to redraw it, well...I grew! Woot!

St. WIlgefortis. Patron Saint of facial hair and of people seeing a refuge from abusive husbands (and fathers).

St. WIlgefortis. Patron Saint of facial hair and of people seeing a refuge from abusive husbands (and fathers). When I was doing my research into existing Patron Saints, I stumbled onto St. Wilgefortis. I thought that was a fun combination - until I read to the end. From Wikipedia: "According to the legend of her life, set in Portugal and Galicia, she was a teenage noblewoman who had been promised in marriage by her father to a Moorish king. To thwart the unwanted wedding, she had taken a vow of virginity, and prayed that she would be made repulsive. In answer to her prayers she sprouted a beard, which ended the engagement. In anger, Wilgefortis' father had her crucified." I considered giving her a knife, to fight off the unwanted husbands and vile fathers, but that would not be true to her suffering. So I included her blood instead. #dailydrawing #patronSaint

Recover your stolen funds from | Scams, Take action now

My Bitcoin wallet was compromised in a single, catastrophic transaction, resulting in the irrevocable loss of my Ethereum and Bitcoin holdings. The moment I grasped the magnitude of what had transpired, I was engulfed in a torrent of disbelief and despair. With approximately $525,000 vanished in an instant, I felt utterly adrift and uncertain about my next steps. I reached out to various Bitcoin support teams, but my efforts were met with silence, leaving me feeling abandoned in a labyrinth of confusion. I even ventured to my local police station to file a report regarding the theft, but unfortunately, the officers explained that cryptocurrency-related crimes often fall outside their jurisdiction. As I stood there, grappling with frustration and helplessness, a kind woman approached me. Sensing my distress, she handed me a note with an email address for Lee Ultimate Hacker, claiming that this recovery company could potentially help me reclaim my lost funds.I decided to reach out to Lee Ultimate Hacker using the email address she provided Leeultimatehacker@aol.com . I meticulously detailed my situation and submitted all the requisite documentation concerning my cryptocurrency holdings and the theft. To my astonishment, I received a response from Lee Ultimate Hacker within a mere 48 hours. They informed me that they had successfully traced my lost funds and identified the perpetrators responsible for the theft. This revelation was a beacon of hope in an otherwise bleak and disheartening situation. This taught me that while the world of cryptocurrency can be fraught with challenges and risks, it is indeed possible to recover lost funds if you connect with the right professionals, like those at Lee Ultimate Hacker, and adhere to the appropriate procedures. I learned the paramount importance of acting swiftly and seeking assistance from specialists who understand the intricacies of cryptocurrency recovery. Although the journey was riddled with anxiety and uncertainty, I am profoundly grateful for the support I received from Lee Ultimate Hacker. My story serves as a poignant reminder that even in the face of significant loss, there are avenues for recovery and support. I hope that by sharing this, others who find themselves in similar predicaments will realize they are not alone and that help is indeed available through dedicated services like Lee Ultimate Hacker

“Monkey = Orphan”, May 2025.

Rediscovered the German language versions of Peter Gabriel’s third and fourth albums (terrific btw) and come ‘Schock den Affen’ was intrigued at how the German word for ‘monkey’ sounds a hell of a lot like orphan… of course that might just be my ears, you know?

My first mermay

And this is my only contribution to mermay. It doesn't look very good, I know. But I'm glad to draw a mermaid for the first time on mermay, I dreamed about it when I could only draw squiggles. I drew it for half a month, and during this time, I even managed to come up with a deep (don't shoot) lore. According to my idea, Eddie needed some sunken cargo (and not only him). Amber offered her help in exchange for some relic of her people, which is stored in the Gotham Museum (even being a mermaid, she is an opportunist). Eddie told her to go to hell and tried to get the cargo with the help of his robots, which Amber successfully sabotaged underwater to pressure him into the deal. In this drawing, Eddie's ran out of luck and got himself roughened up and almost drowned (definitely not Batman this time). Amber saved his skin. No gratitude is expected yet, but this is the least of their problems. Jean advises Amber (they are not at odds in this AU) to leave the polluted waters near Gotham before something happens to her and her health, but she is stupidly stubborn when it comes to the Riddler (and her goals).

Top Cryptocurrency Recovery Experts to Trust BLOCKCHAIN CYBER RETRIEVE

Do not hesitate to contact them through; EMAIL:blockchaincyberretrieve@p o s t . c o m WHATSAPP:+ 1520 564 8300 In an era where digital finance offers unprecedented opportunities, the rise of cryptocurrency has also opened the door to sophisticated scams that prey on trust and ambition. Like many others in USA, I learned this lesson the hard way. Last month, I fell victim to a Bitcoin investment fraud that left me financially devastated and emotionally shattered. The scheme appeared legitimate complete with professional websites, convincing testimonials, and enticing promises of high returns but it was all an elaborate ruse. By the time I realized the truth, my savings had vanished, and I was left grappling with feelings of anger, shame, and hopelessness. This forced me to question my judgment and resilience, but it also imparted a critical truth: being broken is not a sign of weakness; rather, it’s a call to rise again.Amid the turmoil, my American girlfriend became my anchor. She refused to let me surrender to despair and tirelessly researched potential solutions. Her determination led us to BLOCKCHAIN CYBER RETRIEVE , a service she discovered through trusted online forums and reviews. Initially, I was skeptical after all, the internet is riddled with recovery scams but her insistence, combined with BLOCKCHAIN CYBER RETRIEVE transparent communication and proven track record, convinced me to take the leap of faith. From our first interaction, the team at BLOCKCHAIN CYBER RETRIEVE distinguished themselves through their professionalism and empathy. They took the time to understand my case, explaining their process in detail without making unrealistic promises. Their approach was methodical: they analyzed transaction records, traced blockchain activity, and collaborated with legal and cybersecurity experts to build a robust recovery strategy. What stood out most was their honesty they acknowledged the complexities of cryptocurrency fraud but assured me they would pursue every possible avenue for recovery.Incredibly, within just 48 hours, their efforts paid off. To my astonishment, they successfully recovered everything I had lost. The relief I felt was indescribable. Beyond the financial restoration, they also restored my faith in humanity. In a landscape where scams thrive on exploitation, BLOCKCHAIN CYBER RETRIEVE proved that integrity and expertise still exist. If you’ve been targeted by crypto fraud, remember this: vulnerability is not defeat; it’s the first step toward reclaiming control. Scammers rely on silence and shame, but breaking that cycle is crucial. Reach out to BLOCKCHAIN CYBER RETRIEVE document every detail, and act swiftly the sooner you involve experts, the higher your chances of recovery.

Stones, Scribbles, and a Glittery Purse
1/3

The tables were covered in white paper. Crayons, pastels, and smooth sticks waited quietly. Then came Lucy’s glittery purse—her 8-year-old hands had filled it with stones to pass along, one by one, to the strangers around the table. We traced them. Pushed them. Held them. Then we let the colors lead: -Red for emotion. -Yellow for curiosity. -Blue for memory. Each color came with music, with story, with space. At the Museum of Wisconsin Art, we made marks not for meaning but for presence. Thank you to Ann Marie and MOWA for the invitation and trust. And thank you to the participants—some new friends, some old students—for showing up and making lines that listened before they spoke.

Mud Prints & Sacred Transitions
1/3

Sometimes, a good goodbye is also a fresh hello. As we wrapped up our "Sacred Spaces" paintings, I asked our student teacher to design a one-day project—something playful, earthy, and engaging to ease the class into her care. She brought mud. Literally. Using mud and simple stencils, students pressed images—flowers, insects, wings—onto the sidewalk behind our school. There's something timeless about making marks with the ground itself. It felt ancient and immediate at the same time. These prints won’t last long, but maybe that’s the point. A fleeting image, a shared laugh, a new hand guiding the next phase of learning. Art is about making marks. Not all of them need to be permanent.

Maycean Day 1: fish

Here's another drawing prompt from this year. For each of these days in July, I decided to do it with a sea and ocean theme (also certainly inspired by the famous Mer-may). Anyway, for the first day, it's all about fish. To open this, I drew the Smith family's goldfish, who is actually a man whose brain has been implanted in the body of a fish named Klaus Heissler.

RECOVER FROM CRYPTO AND BITCOIN INVESTMENT SCAM >>> GET EXPERT HELP FROM HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS

As a lifelong Indiana resident, I never thought I would fall victim to a cryptocurrency scam especially not one that would wipe out $30,000 of my hard-earned savings. It all began when I was contacted by a woman named “Sophia” through Facebook. She claimed to be a professional crypto investment advisor based in Manhattan and came across as incredibly knowledgeable and confident. Her profile was convincing, filled with images of high-end offices, client testimonials, and even fake endorsements from celebrities, all crafted to earn my trust. At first, I had always been cautious with my money, but her pitch was persuasive. She promised a “low-risk” investment opportunity with high returns, backed by what appeared to be credible audits and consistent performance reports. I decided to test the waters by investing $200. To my surprise, I was able to withdraw the money with no issues, which made the platform seem trustworthy. Feeling more confident, I went all in. Over the next few weeks, I invested $25,000 into what I believed were Bitcoin and Ethereum transactions through her platform. The dashboard displayed constant growth. My account balance soared, and I felt thrilled watching my so-called earnings increase. It looked like the investment was paying off until things took a turn. To unlock my “profits,” I was asked to send an additional $4,800 to cover something called “gas fees.” Hesitant but eager to access my growing funds, I sent the money. Then, just like that, the platform disappeared. My account was inaccessible, Sophia stopped responding, and I was left with nothing. My savings were gone, and I felt betrayed and ashamed. Just when I thought I had lost everything, I came across HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS, a cyber forensics group specializing in retrieving stolen cryptocurrency. Skeptical but desperate, I contacted them. They used advanced tools like Chainalysis to trace the stolen crypto across blockchain and collaborated with international authorities and exchanges to freeze the assets. Amazingly, just last week, HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS recovered 100% of my lost funds. I was stunned and overjoyed. Thanks to their determination, what I thought was gone forever was returned to me. I learned a painful lesson, but I’m grateful for the second chance. Their contact details are listed below. Hire A Cryptocurrency Fraud Recovery Hacker Service Online: VISIT CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES

It started with optimism. A serendipitous encounter with an old college friend in Miami’s bustling airport led to a conversation about financial growth. He spoke glowingly of Dollar fx net, a platform he insisted had doubled his investments. Trusting his enthusiasm, I deposited 10,000 USD a substantial chunk of my job savings only to face a shocking roadblock weeks later. The platform demanded an additional 5,000 “verification fee” to unlock withdrawals. My stomach dropped; this wasn’t a hiccup it was a trap. Stress pushed me into research mode. Scouring cybersecurity forums, I uncovered countless stories mirroring mine: unregulated platforms exploiting trust, draining accounts under false pretenses. Then, a lifeline a Reddit thread praising CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES for their no-nonsense approach to fund retrieval. Skeptical but out of options, I submitted a case file through their portal, hoping for a miracle. The response from CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES was swift and reassuring. They outlined a comprehensive strategy: trace the digital trail of my 10,000 USD, they apply pressure on the platform through legal backchannels. Their transparency struck me while they couldn’t guarantee success, their expertise was evident. Over the next week, CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES became my digital sherpa, guiding me through the murky waters of online fraud recovery. Their team meticulously decoded Dollar fx net’s obfuscated transaction logs, revealing that my funds had been funneled into offshore wallets, far from any regulatory oversight. Armed with this information, their legal team issued takedown notices to payment processors linked to the platform, effectively putting them on notice. The pressure worked: on day 10, I received a cryptic email from Dollar fx net claiming my account was “under review. "By week two, the impossible happened my original 10,000 USD reappeared in my bank account, sans the fabricated fees. CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES later explained how their threat of exposing the platform’s infrastructure to regulators had forced their hand. Their relentless pursuit of justice to recover my funds and also highlighted the importance of holding fraudulent platforms accountable. This ordeal taught me two harsh truths: not all opportunities are as they seem, and due diligence is non-negotiable. Yet it also revealed heroes like CERTIFIED RECOVERY SERVICES ethical hackers who use their skills to fight back against fraud. I now understand that vigilance and the right support can turn the tide against deceit. In a world where fraudsters thrive on silence, speaking out and seeking help can be the most powerful tools in reclaiming what is rightfully yours. today is the birthday of Sebastián García, who voiced Oz Vessalius in Pandora Hearts, Hikaru Hizashi in Beyblade Burst: Surge, Liam Williams in Koala Man, Greg Heffley in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid animated franchise, and Victor in My Dog Pat in Gaby's Dollhouse. He was the first voice of Pandy Paws. It's also the birthday of Jessica Ángeles, who voiced Teddy Duncan in Good Luck Charlie!, Shoko Komi in Komi-san Can't Communicate, and Panzy in Dragon Ball. Daima in Unikitty, she was the voice of Feebee (as a fun fact, Jessica Ángeles only voiced Unikitty in The Lego Movie, its sequel, and in the LEGO Dimensions game). I wish you both a great birthday
