Supplication

The source reference image was from an impromptu photo shoot I did several years ago. The available light in the room was magical and the model was just sitting there meditating. Pencil, Charcoal Pencil, Pastel Pencils on 9” x 12” Strathmore Archival Sketchbook Paper.

Rooster

Our rooster was killed by a weasel while defending his hens a few years ago, so this fellow was referenced from various on-line photos. He's drawn with colored pencils on Strathmore 400 Smooth Bristol board paper.

gneural graffiti patterns blackbook doodle

⚡Flash Back Friday⚡ Going back to a blackbook doodle from a few years ago. Why am I showing you this? Because graffiti art is, and has been, one of my greatest influences (aside from M.C. Escher). It is an art form I love, and I gain much inspiration from the graffiti scene (legal and illegal). I don’t really show this side of my art to the world, but it is fun for me to create, and it definitely informs my other pieces of work.

“Steampunkt”, February 2026.

Something very different(ish) for me… a touch of life drawing! It’s been near enough eight years since I last had a go at this sort of thing. Pleased to see I’m not too bad at it… definitely giving it another go when I can :-)

I grew up drawing and illustrating, but 20+ years later, it hit me with force. I haven't looked back since. These are the first two practice sketches I made when I decided finally that I want to be an artist.

To The Ultimate, January 2022.

Many years back, I watched that documentary ‘The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off’ about a fellow called Jonny Kennedy who lived with the skin condition EB. There’s a bit in that film where he talks about what he hopes his afterlife would be like and, for whatever reason, a couple of coffees as I was re-reading the Wikipedia article about it triggered an idea I had to scribble down...

Russian Church

Behind the Russian Church there is an abyss. The moss and the rubbish are slippery and jagged old tins glitter at the bottom. For hundreds of years they have piled up higher and higher against a long dark-red house without windows. The red house crawls round the rock and it is very significant that it has no windows. Behind the house is the harbour, a silent harbour with no boats in it. The little wooden door in the rock below the church is always locked. Hold your breath when you run past it, I told Poyu. Otherwise Putrefaction will come out and catch you. Poyu always has a cold. He can play the piano and holds his hands in front of him as if he were afraid of being attacked or was apologizing to someone. I always scare him and he follows me because he wants to be scared. - Sculptor's Daughter by Tove Jansson #dailydrawing #tovejansson

My honest reaction

So yeah, I will color this image and add a word bubble. But um, this was my honest reaction to season two of Hazbin. Soooo, I will continue the roller coaster ride, but my ears will burn from the singing and my eyes will be scratched out due to the content in which I am forcing them to focus on. I might even go see a therapist and question all my life choices.

Bad news, everybody (if you dont think about it)

Zoidberg: Everyone! Quick! I was reading about this man RFK Jr. who says that we have to stop all modern medical practices immediately. He says they're poisonous.... Amy: RFK Jr. was an unqualified political grifter who died in disgrace from preventable illnesses over a thousand years ago. All of his theories were discredited even while he was still alive. You'd have to be a complete moron to take him seriously. Leela: God, Dr. Zoidberg. Aren't you even a little ashamed at being such an idiot? Fry: Yeah, Zoidberg. Even I knew that. How embarrassing for you.

EXPERT CRYPTO RECOVERY: SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY HELPS YOU GET BACK LOST FUNDS

At seventy-five years old I strive to remain engaged with modern technology though I admit it can be overwhelming at times. The internet evolves rapidly and cryptocurrency in particular often feels like an entirely foreign language. Sadly I discovered just how confusing it can be when I became the victim of a sophisticated scam. I received an email claiming I had inherited Bitcoin from a distant relative. The correspondence appeared legitimate complete with legal jargon, official seals and documents that looked authentic. All I was required to do they said was pay certain processing and legal fees in cryptocurrency to release the funds. It seemed credible and not wanting to lose the opportunity I complied. By the time I recognized the deception I had lost nearly $40,000.The experience left me devastated. Beyond the financial damage I felt humiliated, ashamed and unsure where to turn. Thankfully my grandson intervened and introduced me to Salvage Asset Recovery. From my very first conversation with them I sensed a genuine difference. Rather than treating me with condescension they approached me with patience, empathy and respect. They assured me that countless people of all ages fall prey to such schemes. That compassion was the first sign I had finally found trustworthy allies. The team at Salvage Asset Recovery carefully outlined the recovery process in language that was clear, concise and easy for me to follow. They set realistic expectations, explained each step in detail and promised to provide consistent updates. True to their word I received daily progress reports and thoughtful explanations. That steady communication restored a measure of calm and gave me confidence that I was not alone. What impressed me most was their relentless professionalism and persistence. The investigators at Salvage Asset Recovery pursued my case with remarkable diligence skillfully tracing the stolen funds. Their determination never wavered and it was obvious they genuinely cared about restoring what I had lost. Their unwavering focus reignited hope at a time when I felt utterly defeated. After weeks of effort they achieved what I had considered impossible. Salvage Asset Recovery successfully recovered $35,000 of the $40,000 I had lost. The relief and gratitude I felt cannot be overstated. Thanks to their expertise I regained not only a substantial portion of my savings but also my faith in honest principled people. If you have ever been defrauded I wholeheartedly recommend Salvage Asset Recovery. They are compassionate, dependable and unyielding in their commitment to justice. you can get in touch with them via below WHATS APP +18476547096
