This is watercolor using the negative painting technique where you paint around your subject using multiple layers which creates depth. This has greater than 8 layers of watercolor washed around the tree shapes
I watercolored Mathilda's Ms Trunchbull as well as Bride of Frankenstein. I originally painted Lady Frankenstein in green, but it turns out she's a human-skinned person, so I had to change that in Photoshop.

This piece consist of 2 sheets, the bottom sheet is painted by my four year old daughter, on top of that is a orange paper which I cut the kitchenware out of.
This drawing began as just a random sketch of a face then over time i gave into my creative thirst lol. I'm new to art so this was an adventure I suppose. I don't normally paint trees. So I was surprised when my daily doodling produced this loose interpretation of the tree in my garden. I quite like it. Doodles are magical.
