Aaron Ramsey Tribute

In-progress. This is the final season for Aaron Ramsey as an Arsenal player. I put this compilation of images over his years with the team. Each one conveys something a bit different. The top image is a gesture to the fans. The middle is indicative of the emotion of playing. The lower is him in action.

Fright Night (1985)

One of the scariest characters I've ever seen. The most frightening of the vampires from the movie "Fright Night" (1985). I had to draw her as a form of therapy. Thumbs-up for the art department on that movie! If she had had white eyes instead of the red eyes in the movie, I would've been irreparably damaged! :) (Pencil on paper, size A4).

The Wizards Cloak

(B grade pencil on 125mm x 75mm notecard) Another dreamscape image. With this one, I decided to pick out points of detail whilst having the rest shaded in the background. It works well, even with minimum elements highlighted.

Before sunrise

„Sweet cakes and milkshakes“ this line is a part of the poem from the film „Before sunrise“. Celine and Jesse met in the train to Paris. Then they decided to switch up their plans. When I watched the film some years ago I felt so inspired. Until now the film has a special place in my heart. Do you have favourite movies? Wish you a woonderful dayy. :)

Go to The Jim

No more expensive seminars or tedious books from feel good money hungry hucksters. No more scaling dangerous mountains to gain audience with bony little unshaven gurus. Now, a new level of advice is available with no more effort than a few totally free swipes of your hand. Go to The Jim. Truth for the people.

My husband has a chronic illness and frequently spends weeks in the hospital. I have been doodling each day while sitting with him and many of them reflect my thoughts at the time. Often appearing are desperation, hope, frustration, sarcasm, fear.

Purple Cat

Still working on updating my cat style. I liked how this guy's fur turned out. I find the sketching part the hardest, it seems so easy to mess up the cat at that part.

Wobbly Neighborhood

I have never loved drawing anything city related because I am lazy when it comes to perspective. However, I have learned that I actually like the wobbly nature of my more recent attempts. Or, I simply embraced my laziness. Either way it has been fun!

Giving Tuesday

When we help someone there is always something that blooms and grows beyond us. It is an increasingly necessary action in a world that unfortunately is increasingly divided. @givingtuesdaypt challenged me to illustrate its movement inspired by this year's motto "Together we change the world"! This day is celebrated on the first tuesday after BlackFriday, calling on anyone to choose a cause that ressonates with them and give back to them however you can. Thus, a wave of massive generosity is created, which can (and should) extend beyond today! Are there any organizations you want to support? : .

Caturday

I’ve started to feed a couple of strays in my area. Some have clearly been on the streets their whole lives, look very unwell, and have not been spayed/neutered. I wish I could take them all in and get them over to see a vet. Sketchbooking today, just moved and am unpacking.
