I tried to use my imagination for this, but I had to fall back on photo reference, to finish it. THe problem with the composition is I did not use a background colour. I did this about 3 years ago. Their are mountains in the background.

I think I will move onto the face next, as the face is by far the hardest element in the figure to get right.

I am gaining an interest in figure drawing from the imagination. Drawing a figure is like craving a away at a block of granit. You make many atempts to get the figure right.

An old lime kilin.These were used to make fertiliser for farming, before the introduction of chemical fertilisers. They made lime out of burnt charcoal.They are not used any more.

The battering of the sea off of a lighthouse is about my own mental health problems.
