Hey everyone! This is an interactive website I did for my BFA thesis this year. The piece explores the struggles I’ve faced as a black, lesbian woman. This piece features events that happened when I was in an unhealthy relationship in high school, from late-2016 to mid-2017. The work combines CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and HTML with digitized images that I drew on paper, using black colored pencil. I'd really appreciate some feedback and critique for this work. I tried to go a different approach this time with my planets. I was tracing the circle and I said to myself wait a minute, it doesn’t have to be one planet they can be 2,3,4,5 planets if I wanted too, so I decided to just draw circle on top of the circle and then a smaller planets next to it just make it more interesting. I have all the space so I should be able to use it. I also did the same thing on another panel and then that’s pretty much it and you’ll see the rest of it tomorrow.
I'm not really satisfied with how it turned out,I'll definitely redesign her again soon.Shes a succubus I originally drew when I was 17 along with an Incubus named Dezeo.My inspiration came from marvel's Satana Hellstrom,I read a few comics on her.Like a lot of succubuses she drains the energy of young men and later gets rid of them.Adult Erik and Bernard were almost her victims until Gerard banishes her for good.she prefers draining the energy of young, handsome,adult men than doing what succubuses are supposed to do since it's easier for her and she likes being dominant over them.she becomes angry quickly and will fight with magic,but when she's extremely angry she turns into a hideous monstrosity (which is her true form)if anyone sees her true form,they will die.i didn't upload a sketch because I accidentally deleted it

I don't know what the fuck I just made I was trying to draw a cookie but the reference that I had had a lot of like different cracks in it I wasn't familiar with. I was doing draw a box earlier in 2021 but I stopped doing it because I started getting into my head I started doubting myself I was like why am I just trying to seriously draw now at 27, why did I go to school for 6 years to get a 4 year art degree, why is my art is not at the level I want it to be compared to all my classmates; these are all reasons why I'm doing this 365 challenge and I should remind myself that all the fucking time. I'm also going back to work for the next 4 days and work takes all of my energy to do art. Tomorrow marks 20 days of doing this, I'm proud of that.
It's a worry when you have a chat with a child about dinosaurs and they say they should skateboard, but have their baseball cap turned backwards and have sunglasses on and only skate on one leg, cause I can see that straight in my mind and I couldn't resist making a little mascot logo design of a Diplodocus riding a skateboard. The only thing I couldn't work out is how to make him do the thumbs up sign, cause Diplodocus' don't have thumbs! Maybe I should go back to the drawing board with the thumb idea, but this was so much fun to get down and design. The kid loved it, so next time I go over to see her mum and dad it looks like I'll be doodling dinos doing all sorts of things!
have to be honest...I'm not a fan of cutesy characters I prefer cold,sarcastic,scornful characters like Ruthleen,Parslip,Elveridrel,snidecious and Morrison.but clemence is the exception because her cuteness never favors her because she's not taken seriously as a person (because she's pink and fluffy,like real cotton candy)anyway Clemence was supposed to be a partly humanoid candy person but since it didn't suit her personality(clever,hard working,hopeful)well I changed her to a humanoid instead.she was timid and clumsy in her original look and she was taller 6'0.again these are old sketches I completely forgot about,
