Garbage can: I wanted to try out my 'Secret Shoppers' doodle on a soft surface before I tried it on canvas, and I found a garbage can in our garage that worked okay
I headed over to the Devonian Square, near the Ryerson Image Centre, to sketch the Devonian Pond, also known as Lake Devo. It turns out that the images are part of a temporary art installation by artist Lori Blondeau regarding Indigenous identity.
I recently converted our garage into a studio space. The biggest construction project I've ever undertaken but I'm very happy with the end result. It's so nice to have a space made specifically for my creative process.

Meet the Woolies
Fearful creatures who live in the ocean and wear colorful woolen sweaters kitted by their grandmothers.
When they see something scary they duck under water and retreat further into their woolen garments.
Mind you, they do inhab
