I'm trying some new techniques out. Not sure I like either of them, particularly, but one has to try occasionally.

A piece from Inktober Day 3

I have started keeping a digital sketchbook. This is the first page.

This started of as a simple doodle that became a bit more complicated. I used copic liner,gold ink and a bit of watercolor for shadowing.

These are my drawings for Inktober 2018. I had set these rules for myself; Making a drawing every day with a dip pen within 15 minutes. Some succeeded, others failed completely, but I enjoyed the challenge!

I was tired of carrying around a bunch of Microns. I want one or two refillable pens so I started with buying a new Lamy AL-Star Fountain Pen. I love it. I got the medium nib and am able to get a nice range of line width from it. This and maybe a fine nib and I'll be all set for a travel kit. This is the first page I drew with it.

Hand. Incorporated a few techno from Lisa Congdon’s Inktober class on Creative Bug. Seems to evoke a little something.

Spooky sketch filled in with Golden Fluid Acrylic paint in Carbon Black. The background and other colors are watercolor.

This is a hand drawing of Dexter a dog that I had 18 years ago. I used ink and I use a background made with photoshop brushes in the digital file.
