I'm always making something.
I specialize in gigposters, handlettering, illustration, pen and ink, psychedelic art, screenprinting, skateboard art, skulls, weirdo art.
Working on this t-shirt design for Squad19. It started as a doodle in my sketchbook. Follow my Instagram for more pics.
I drew an owl. Can't you tell? See the full post on my Instagram. https://www.instagram.com/steve.tenebrini/
I was tired of carrying around a bunch of Microns. I want one or two refillable pens so I started with buying a new Lamy AL-Star Fountain Pen. I love it. I got the medium nib and am able to get a nice range of line width from it. This and maybe a fine nib and I'll be all set for a travel kit. This is the first page I drew with it.
This was done for Squad19's 2018 Go Skateboarding Day T-shirt.
I have a little Moleskine (3.5 x 5.5) notebook that I only draw skulls in. I started in November of 2013 and I do one whenever the urge strikes me. It's not like a skull-a-day thing but sometimes I do get into a period where I will draw one every day for a while then I won't draw any for months. I even lost it for a while and was very sad. I think the longest gap between pages has been a year. This is the most recent skull, drawn on 05.28.2018. Most of them are posted on my Instagram but you have to scroll back a ways to get at the bulk of them.
This spread was unfinished for over a year and I finally got around to completing it. Micron on
Molskine sketch grade paper.
This is old (2007). I used to work at the ad agency that had the Harley-Davidson account for a number of years. I always carry around a Moleskine sketchbook and take meeting notes on one side while doodling on the page next to it. This doodle ended up being used extensively in the Harley-Davidson "Dark Custom" campaign as well as on a line of Dark Custom Motorclothes.
It say's "FUCK YEAH" in it and they never noticed. :)
