Today in Portugal we celebrate our freedom day, while being inside. This is a portrait of one of our icons: Zeca Afonso, singing the iconic song "Grândola Vila Morena". Daily Drawing 670

During my school days I used to love going to the Art at lunch time. We really were able to create what ever we wanted. I used pain brush strokes, tracing paper and really explored.

Hand and colour study. This was back when I just bought my whole 72 set Prisma Colour and I wanted to practice with it.

The quarantine mood. Daily Drawing 669

Wanted to further push how realistic I can achieve with water colour. I don’t think my skill is there yet, so I just let the water colour did it’s thing. And tried to control it less, moved away from adding even more detail.

Pencil Drawing

Hand drawn repeat pattern design, I used ink and then pencil crayon on top. The idea was to create a realistic scene of what life was like for me in the 80's - as opposed to cutesy images of children playing with puppies etc.
