Superstition : Hare.
Two extraordinary beliefs about the hare which are still repeated though no longer held, are that it is so timid that it never closes its eyes, even in sleep; and that once a year the creatures change their sex!

I drew this at a zoom climate event on a postcard. It will be sent to a state politician. I drew it with colored pencils (I got inspired by @DoisPontoseMeio's art.) I think the face is good, that's the reason I uploaded it but the rest isn't that great (I'm still learning how to draw things other than faces.)
The Annunciation to the Blessed Virgin Mary by the Archangel Gabriel. This is also considered the Incarnation of Jesus. Those letters "ICXC" are an abbreviation of the Greek name of "Jesus Christ" ("IHCOYC XPICTOC"), hence she is conceiving Jesus by the Holy Spirit and power of the Most High. ^_^ That's why the light is going towards her. Her arms are crossed in humility as if she was saying "Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it done to me according to thy word". Gabriel the Archangel and Blessed Mama Mary, pray for us! O:)

Day 18: I have been using an old-style safety razor for about a year now. Changed the blade for the first time and, yowzah, I got cocky with that dull blade.
Drawing made to commemorate this year's world environment day. The theme for 2020 was diversity and this drawing is a call to action, a call to reflect on our actions and make positive changes to our daily lives.
I started a project of hunt illustrations, where things in the image need to be found. In this, the objects were: Lost iPhone, murder weapon, portal to another world, glass half empty and banana. (This is the pre-digital illustration which I don’t usually share but felt like a change!)

This is one of the first digital art peices I have done that I actually like. I have never attempted to draw the hair in braids so my digital art isn't always bad. This is my most recent work, just finished. I really had a lot of fun with this one. It didn’t turn out as colorful as I hoped but the contrast is spot on. If you’d like to give me a suggesting, i’m still trying to decide if i should fill the lower right chest area of the horse. It doesn’t make sense to leave it blank but i’m afraid changing it might ruin what I have. Any opinion is welcome! :)

This is an old piece created as part of a series of illustrations for a poetry book entitled "Fruit and Bones" by Elizabeth Zimmers (Yon) back in 2002. I think about times when talking on the phone was a thing and you’d be on for hours only to end up to infamous game of who hangs up first. Graphite, charcoal, and pastel on paper 11x14inch
Playing with colored pencils this week. This is very loosely based on a photo....changed hair, eyes, and skin tones to suit my mood. Vintage Conte a Paris Criterium, Prismacolor Verithin, and Tombow Irojiten pencils.
Hopefully this major occurrence brings about positive changes in preparedness, mindsets, practices, and concerns. Maybe the world just needed a quick reset where everything was "still" for a moment as a reminder or refresher. The silver lining in my mind is that this sets a better trajectory for future things to come and perspectives as well as for priorities to become more clear for everyone as individuals and a world working together.
Finally done! I worked on this for most of the evening and well into the night yesterday. I was so excited to finish it. I did stencil in the letters, but it took so long to paint them in. I bought the board a couple days ago at Hobby Lobby and finished the sign around about 10 minutes ago. Let me know what you think in the comments. (I am aware that the girls foot isn’t hanging down. I’m kinda leaning towards leaving it the way it is.)
