Weird shapey lady that wants to plant a forest.

I was thinking the other day about what got me interested in art and remembered that I used to draw these DBZ characters all the time. (Now not having the time to do much of anything and character drawings are pretty simple) Knowing what I know now I decided to do a quick sketch, mainly because I need to practice my line work.

Some of my friends got drunk and came up with this idea that my best friend was a god. For whatever reason they decided Hopsin and Billie are the other two major gods. So this is part of a joke we have been pulling on him. Could have worked harder editing it but it’s all for fun. Thought I’d share it.

Cat is actually called Sammie but for unknown reason I started calling him Samsam. My oc Yasumi that’s my bff’s alter-ego.

I travelled around Uzbekistan for two weeks during easter. It is definitely one of the most interesting and beautiful countries I have travelled in. These are some of the urban sketches from my travel sketchbook, of some of the most famous buildings in the different cities of Uzbekistan. I would LOVE to hear what you guys think.

I truly died drawing this. And while I died, I kept adding and adding grrrr. Anyway, my new version of the goddess of nature that I did in 2014. But wanted to be truly different. The 2014 version had no flowers and was a full tree. Now she has ‘hair’ . Spectrum noir markers, white gelpens and glitter gelpens.

I participated in an art swap challenge at Sktchy where I had to draw someone randomly assigned to me in a "space" theme. I'm so pleased with how this one turned out! Pen and watercolour, 6x4". Would love to hear what you think the story

I haven’t been that active here so, rather than waiting a day to post each of my new works, I’m going to just stick with my latest. And this isn’t exactly an oc, but I could draw him again in the future. I also don’t have a name for him yet, so you can write a suggestion in the comments. I drew this since I’m kinda facing a dilemma and sketching helps me clear my mind and think.

The freshness of morning withdrew in front of the warm rays of the sun. The Wizard of Cirilo Bum and I came to the High Meadow, one beautiful gazebo, where we planned to spend a day off. - Only those who work hard and get their work done, fully enjoy all the pleasure of a vacation - said the wizard Čirilo Bum. I did not answer him, my life plan was to work as little in life, for that reason, I have taught for the wizard at him. By the time we took the time to see the water that emerged from the earth, in the air she created a form of grapes and spirals of various colors that had disappeared in the unknown. The Ghosts of water had fun, trying to show each other their skills. We chose a place on the edge of the High Meadow for our accommodation, where we could watch the landscape: meadows and forests scattered to distant mountains of dark blue. Above us were an old, large yew tree as created to keep us from the strong sun and the negative energy. Below the meadow was stretched by which a dozen young dragons rode along and across, skillfully changed the direction of movement and twisted with their long bodies, they played hunting. Hidden in the crown of a large oak tree near us, pointed snake watched their game with their big green eyes, but I noticed that she quickly dropped into sleep. Then I remember that I did not do some important jobs yesterday, Čirilo Bum will definitely see it when we get home. It spoils my mood a bit, and I pulled out of the baskets a few of the dried sausages that the old wizard worked so well. Full stomach I always better mood. - There are rare opportunities to see the Big Redbeak - suddenly spoke Cirilo Bum - bird right now wants to snatch egg. I stared for a while around so Čirilo Bum says: I said Big. And indeed, I find him so big that several other creatures sought accommodation in his body. My nervousness I softened so that I ate all the food from the basket. Late in the afternoon, we went home, from the trees they began to descend some new, hitherto unseen beings in search for food or night hideout. Spirit of water was gone, but a good part of the way, perhaps from curiosity, we were followed by other inhabitants of the World of Fantasy, were to me welcome companions, I took my thoughts with them, to the house. I have had an ongoing project called Hybrid Mythologies. Inspired by stories and mythological creatures, tales from different traditions and parts of the world, I have been playing with emergent stories, characters and creatures that incorporate different elements. It is really a kind of spontaneous, intuitive journey and play of associations - oftentimes surprising to myself in what emerges. This year I am planning to publish an artbook entitled Hybrid Mythologies and if it all goes according to plan, it should be done some time in May. I will post process from this book.

This is a much older concept that I never really finished. Took place long before my editing game was any good.

I decided to practice posing with a character that has a certain style. I also wanted to test a design for my artist logo. I will definitely be making a digital version of this character in the near future. Colored with Artify alcohol-based markers, and a white Gellyroll pen for highlights.

We were having a thunder storm, so I figured I’d do a sketch waiting for my markers to get here. I ended up getting carried away and inking it right away. I put a few layers of fixatif on it, and I'm hoping that'll stop the paint/ink from bleeding too much when I apply the markers.

I have a good bit more to do with this but I thought I’d post the progress so far. First time using real software besides stuff like paint. Sketched out the bones of it in pen and scanned to myself.

Dogs will always make me feel better, especially the big one when you can just snuggle into that furry body!

After Mrs. Death takes life and the soul went away in the wheel of the final verdict, it remains only material, dead, a bit valuable part once alive being, the meat that becomes a problem for family and community. Mortician comes to the dead body of the late Henri, its enormous mouth silently sucked corpse, he turned, and dignity went behind the elevation, the problem was solved forever. A 3 format

I don't know where I came up with the idea but what I can tell you is that the black marker I was using died by the end of this!

The first pen drawing I've attempted in a long time! Also the first pot plant that has survived my care...

In the Finnish mythology killing of a bear was followed by a great feast in honour of the bear (peijaiset), where a substantial part of the celebrations consisted of convincing the bear's spirit that it had died accidentally and hadn't been murdered. Afterwards, the bear's skull was hung high upon a pine tree so its spirit could re-enter the heavens. The bones of the bear were then buried under the pine. Reference for this work is my old drawing of karhunkallopetäjä/bearskullpine in the Riisitunturi. Also practice sketch of bear skull and at last photo i took of pine.

Watercolour of my German shepherd dog called Rommel, who is no longer with us. He went to that great kennel in the sky many years ago now.

Shortly after graduating in medicine doctor Illness concluded that the treatment of people does not make sense since he constantly coming new ill patients. The great desire to explore the state of the disease, he began his patients exposed to hazardous situations contagion and infection. Curious and eager for knowledge about the most serious illnesses, supported and developed the existing disease in their patients. He did not hesitate to post the wrong diagnosis, prescribing the drugs that have not been treat difficult health situation, on the contrary, they encouraged further development of the disease. After several years, he was arrested and charged with numerous deaths. Very indignant, told the court that great scientists have never been properly accepted by a society full of prejudices and petty soul.

One day in my frustration I scribbled over some thumb nails and proceeded to draw birds with lyrics to that song by The Eels, Birds....it was one of those days.
