Another watercolor I made from observation. This is a quiet place near my father's home, where I use to go with my friends when I was a child.
I am painting those in a 5x8 very convenient moleskin watercolor book. I previously eyeballed the dimensions of this book at 4x6 when I had no ruler to verify but I was slightly wrong. Now the info is exact. :)
Unfortunately, I broke up and separated with my girlfriend prior to Christmas. If there is an upside, it is that moving by myself has led me going through old work I’d packed up in various boxes - not opened for years. This is just an abstract biro doodle (+ markers for colour) I doodled, while working in a stupid telephone interview job in my early 20s.
This is my first full landscape project that I painted for a skillshare course. It was frustrating at times but I really enjoyed working through the multiple steps of this painting. I wanted to see what I could do it I pushed myself and I am happy with the final painting. I need to focus some more study on trees in the future, I like how the foreground tree came out, the forest edge was much more difficult. There is a theory that Universe is a consciousness. To find what is out there we have to find what is in our own consciousness. So thats a zoomed in eye and the interstellar spaceship going in the space that exist within us.
I don't know why these all upload sideways, but here's my latest work for the sketchbook. I created the electric field pattern and printed it on photo paper then doodled these rainbow trout (at the suggestion of my friend Andrew) and glued them on.
Essentially what this "Secret Sketchbook" project is, is a sketchbook that I use for my Patreon, that I make doodles in for my patrons, then once I have enough pages, I make it into a zine! I'm currently in the process of getting the very first secret sketchbook printed now, and starting on the second one which will be more exclusive until it's complete!

A lot of species become endangered because of our need to kill. We should love and protect all the animals, not put them on walls (real or virtual) only for our pleasure and ego.
Another batch of sketches from my time in the album recording session earlier this week. Noodler’s ink blue loaded in my fountain pen, then applying a bit of water with a water brush. I like the bleeding that occurs.
Painting, drawing, crayoning, markering (I just made that word up)...it's always more fun when a child is involved, even when they purposefully color over a character. It adds character to the character, no?
This was done for my first Scrawlr Box challenge. Which I was super excited to finally get to try, and I loved the supplies that were in the box. I am really happy with how this has turned out, it brings the two things I really like together; deer antlers and flowers.

An automatic drawing, everything is out of my head with only the briefest idea of a story line. I played around with shapes and lines and shading to see what affect would result. It was fun, but time consuming.
