The National-About Today

The other day I saw pictures of a Russian gala beginning of the 1900. The royalty was wearing extravagant beautiful clothing and they inspired this piece. Due to the card stock used and the subject I also decided to not use color but leave it at black, white and dark Grey. I would love feedback as I adore how it turned out. Is essence this to me was partially a study on the fashion of Russia in the 1900 as well as a chance to play around with 'colored' paper and how to use black and white to make most of what I had with me. I hope to make another piece like this again in the future, hopefully have it perhaps even more extravagant. This piece was made using. Inktober day 5

Been a while since I've doodled and uploaded here!

Kicking off Inktober with some creepiness for the prompt "Ring". I never do this all the way through but maybe this year is the year.

I am a huge fan of this show! The drawing is done with ballpointpens and the skin colour looks a bit strange since I only had a red, blue, black, pink, purple and green pen. Thank you very much for looking at my drawing!!

Here's some artwork of a friend's fursona (she doesn't have Doodle Addicts), her name is Whisper!

These are the results from a request to create a piece based on a fathers son's nicknames. The older brother is the moon, second the bear, third the bird. Added the stars as the parents. His first request was of a tattoo of sorts ...but I struggled and my drawings kept turning into children illustrations. I so enjoyed the challenge and it gave me an opportunity to honor the love of family. At the same time, it was hard to associate them into a tattoo:) .

There is a purpose in the rope being tied loosely. The individual has the liberty to free themselves but remains enslaved by their own choice. Many times we know exactly what to do, but refuse to do just that. Sometimes we want freedom, but we use our liberty to remained chained to what we hate.

This piece was created using graphite. It demonstrates the struggles of those who suffer from mental illnesses on the inside and on the outside.

I had no eraser for this one, and only one rather thick pencil, but I like how it turned out.

Some drawings from a figure drawing meetup. The model had some very interesting poses ;). I used a Pendel brushpen for the drawings.

Did a doodle sketch. Didn’t really know where this idea was going when I started it then it grew into a kind of cityscape sunset in the end. I was trying to sort of do a bridge around the buildings in an abstract unidimensional way. Well thought it was creative and different in the end.
