Dans cette série, j’ai voulu revisiter des œuvres célèbres en utilisant ma technique graphique de l’éloge de l’approximation mettant en évidence la problématique de la défaillance et de la mémoire vaporeuse. Coloring practice! Looked up a lot of references for the lighting, and despite not looking like the reference I'd say I've leveled up with colored pencils. I almost never use prismas except for hair, but this time prismas colored the entire lass. This here's Yonn Goldheart Afflora, savior of Galantra, basically she's the braveheart of her country. The dirt on her face speaks of 1000 hunts and the loss of her eye shows the extent of her bravery and sacrifice. I'm thinking her chapter should be explained in a short story, yes? For legends get passed along in story over fire and wine!

Did these as thank yous for my son’s preschool teachers. They loved them and I had fun making them.

My daughter is loving my weird floppy cats so I drew a colouring page for her although I am thinking I might end drawing a few more and making it into a little book for her. I can't wait to see how she colours this in :)

Chari is one of my favorite folks to draw! I have been drawing a lot more while out and about. Using the cheap graph composition notebook, non-expensive art supplies and going to a coffee shop to draw people. Sometimes I can get a likeness with my mind, eyes, hands and draftsmanship and other times it is the "many moods of my subject." :-) This is a place (in my book) where I can learn from my perceived fails. ****The images are sideways! I know this. I do not know how to make them portrait orientation. They started out as portrait-scaped orientation and now they are landscape. Well..... Okay then. The figurative landscape. Hahaahhha! Cry. I even tried the visa versa. Nope. They want to be on their sides.

I've been gone from this site for too long, but it's because I've been making environmental posters! This one is to raise awareness against weedkillers. Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Round-Up and many others, is now considered a probable cancer-causing agent, so let's not use it! There's an equally effective recipe at the bottom of the poster.

It’s a work in progress, I haven’t started on shadowing yet. The armor overall is Mark V, but the helmet is Mark IV. Inspiration for this came from how 343 mentioned Halo Infinite will be taking a lot of stuff from Halo Combat Evolved, which has been my favorite. With a little anime mixed in as the face. My favorite part about this so far is the whole ‘exploration/unknown’ aspect, since Halo CE levels were pretty big and fun to look around. And the landscapes especially inspired this, showing just how much is out there.

Finished this up. Not particularly a fan of Barcelona, but greatness is where it is. It’s funny, no matter how dark I make shadows and shading, I always feel I could have gone darker.

I don't know why I love drawing birds so much, I just do, and it's always small ones like Finches and Canary's...here I added some froggies coz they're fun to paint too...

Promotion for a Fictional Band

Today is Draw a Bird Day. I drew an archaeopteryx, the first bird. And Might Could Draw Today's prompt is frog. So I drew a frog too. This picture makes me happy. Don't worry, the frog gets away and the dinosaur finds something else to eat. ^_~

My daughter

I created this card for someone to bring to a Law of Attraction event. I drew the flowers on textured paper, came up with the phrase, and then set the type. I am a professional Healer so this phrase is powerful advice I give to others in my practice.

This piece was commissioned by a coworker. It was a very large piece at 24"by26" on green leather. I used an acrylic base and then completely covered that with oils. It becomes very dusty when dried so I added many layers of a spray varnish for oils on top. The color remained nice and vibrant.
