Now the next step to ask yourself is what part am I playing to preserve our earth? All it takes is one action from you to make a difference. Collectively we will make a difference.

Hi I'm back! I took this as an opportunity to practice using values alongside lighting.

Inspired by the Irworobong design (korean palace folding screen) during my Korea trip. Since I made the trip in spring, with flowers abundant, I thought to use the five mountain peaks as five petals to form a flower.

This is the first time I’ve ever drawn a skulldog, and I think it turned out pretty well! Sorry I dipped, I low key forgot this website existed lol.

Inspired by my recent trip to Korea, which I intentionally went this season to catch the cherry/plum/peach blossoms. As I observed the zigzagness of the tree branches, I see in it the number of roads/mis-roads I had to take, as someone unfamiliar with the land, to get to a good bloom spot. Which kinda reminds me of life. I felt I just had to do this piece.

I needed something relaxing to create.

This is a simple watercolor and pen drawing of a witch hazel tree in winter bloom with an owl perched on top. I love the witch hazel shrub and am thinking of creating a picture book showcasing the plant throughout the seasons.

New sketchbook time? Yes it is. Experimenting with a new size this time around... I call this one “Miniature Eyes”!

The solar eclipse was incredible for me on many levels ~ In deep mediation the movement of the solar eclipse inspired me, grounded me and offered an intense level of focus and internal balance of the feminine and masculine within us all ~ Parts of this ongoing collage has been done with the left hand. Grounding and clearing tools I like to use: Florida water, Sage ash, Palo ash (all ethically sourced and pure)

soaking up the sun with some oil pastel on paper --- nature lands ~ I create

And so, we reach the end of another sketchbook here… it’s goodnight from me and Squirtle, for now!

Caged is a collection of healing through deep inner journey work. Note: this is part of the process included while writing the final draft of my upcoming novel.

I take pride in experimenting with different photo exposures to bring out new dimensions in my creations. My work never feels complete, as there's always more room for exploration. Two charms! I love books about Moomins. And these two are very interesting characters! I really like their story. I drew this art about a week ago. It is based on one of the illustrations of the book by Tove Jansson

THINK I HAVE A HAT ON ~ HOPE THAT'S IT

I'm surprised how when I use a sketchbook's back page basically to test media, I end up freed from the pressure to make anything "good" and as a result, the doodles that end up there sometimes tell their own story that I look back on much later and remember.
