Finally finished this big drawing

Last part of my animals at hide serie. Willow grouses use to go under snow at night times. In to ”kieppi” at Finnish

My grandma is a craftswoman . She used to work at a Talavera pottery studio and sometimes I would skip school and join her at work. She would give me an imperfect blank pottery piece and lend me her painting supplies so I could create my own art.

Here's the latest I've been working on, Illustration A0110. I've been messing with a cool Linocut brush I found for Procreate. Also digging the new text feature they added to the app! Made with Apple Pencil + iPad, tracked time: 7 hours and 30 minutes.

Recent acrylic painting made for a new technique demo video. Using Acrylic skin to create an acrylic collage painting.

These patterns are all made from drawings pulled from my 2017 sketchbook project. I studied fiber arts in grad school and learned how to do repeat patterns - the old fashioned way by cutting and taping paper together... I haven't done any in 25 years - until this month!
