I like it when I strike a nice combination of delicate features and bold marks. I suppose the simple palette helps in this case.

I had to learn so many new things today just to get this done. It's a simple comic but the digital process is very different from what I'm used to. I love comics and I'm finally making my own.

Some folks in this world tend to get a kick out of their more negative impulses and for all sorts of trivial reasons. Had to crank out something in response to my thoughts on the matter here! On a lighter note, any excuse to draw an irrawaddy dolphin is a good one...:)

Reflecting on the current pandemic, only to realise things this time last year gave plenty of us something to gripe about too... How times seemed simpler then.

Tuesday night (or is Wednesday morning?) is alright for improvising, that much is true.

I've been working on portraits so much that it's taken up most of my drawing time. I miss the simpler things like trees and mountains so today at lunch I drew this tree.

Even if it is (in my case at the least) just doodling away to the point of allsorts in the hopes it’ll make at least one person a) happy b) perked or c) amused, do good and be good in wake of the current shitstorms in the making. More for another day...

Some time later, he disappeared, and Caroline received his bloodstained watch from an anonymous sender with no explanation, only the mailing address from which the anonymous sent the package. Caroline couldn't think of anything better than to dress up as a man and travel to the town the package came from, introducing herself as James Holloway and gaining fame with her skills. She hopes that if the anonymous hears about an albino man named James Holloway in the town where they might live, they'll contact her again when they hear about her. Her logic is this: this person sent a package containing something important to Jim to her, so they must know something about Jim, her, and their friendship, and if they hear Jim's name used by an albino, they'll understand everything. So she sets out on a dangerous journey, making herself a kind of beacon/signal for the anonymous sender to find them and through them to find Jim or learn what happened to him.
