Not much to say other than that it is a mushroom and its blue! Behold the Blue Mushroom.

This drawing was an attempt at drawing something grotesque as well as a study of a side profile of a person. Alukah is a Hebrew word that means "horse-leech", a type of leech with many teeth that feeds on the throats of animals. Inspired by Jungi Ito's "Slug Girl" and "Leech Woman" from the film Puppet Master.

The first three Inktobers2021 Procreate. Not sure how well regarded this still is as an event. I know it has gotten a lot of bad press and hubbub, but I'm going to try and stick to it this year.

Someone suggested I try to draw a mouth on a mushroom, so I gave it a try.

This was another tree doodle done with an ink dip pen.

This is was more of an experiment as I wanted to see what black ink would like on paper with an "aged" like background. I think it came out quite nicely but I also think that the black ink might seem a bit too bold. I'm not really sure.

Saw a similar drawing on Pinterest and decided to put my micron pens to use

"And I Can't Get It Out of My Head" Watercolor I feel like I may be cheating since the song I was inspired by is not so simple, but I'm pleased with the result. To be completely honest, this was the piece I needed right now. The past week has been interesting for me, I've found myself in a peculiar slump. There's not one thing I'm thinking or worrying about, it's a constant buzz of thoughts streaming through my head. Sometimes I can get the buzzing to quiet down, other times it gets overwhelmingly loud. I've always found art to be a release, it fills in the blanks when I can't figure out how to make my words work. Lately, it's been more of a challenge than usual, but I think this piece says all I've been wanting to say.

I have been trying to keep a habit of regularly doodling in my sketchbook at least once a day. Here is a collection of some recent drawings I have completed.

Once again playing with shapes, colours, marks, and loads of squiggly, smudgy ink lines. No pressure. Just trying to get back into splashing around with paint and seeing what emerges.

This series came about as a way to catalogue the many intense and tumultuous emotions of living through the pandemic.

It's been a while since I upload something here. I have been trying so many different things; for example, I try to think with other art elements other than lines. I am doing a self-exploration project #1111daysofart since July 1st, where I will do something art-related every day, which inspired me, big or small. It is a long way, and I hope I will make it :D

These are just some random doodles I have done recently while practicing my skill in pen and ink drawing.

Tree done with black ink, leaves with blue and yellow inks (wet in wet technique). I really like how the leaves turned out.

For this series, I'm trying to hone my beginner skills by focusing on the architecture of each strange creature through reference photos, while also using it as a log for interesting animal facts.
