Quick 1 hour sketch working with a limited palette for a moody, gritty atmosphere. I always like to think of the story behind a piece before I start, and this one was a reflection of where I see the world going - a dystopian world in which many parts of the city have been abandoned, taken over by urban foliage, and left to ruin as people flee.

It's just a test page I made! Working/exercising certain techniques? I don't know, I just practice making comic pages sometimes!

I’ve always loved the Lancia Stratos, it was purely built for rallying, a very cool looking and quirky car, a beast in sheep’s clothing I think.

This was inspired by the artwork of AnneliesDraws. She has an amazing skills with gouache and colored pencils. I don't have gouache paints and so I tried making an illustration using my watercolor paints. I tried increasing the opacity of the watercolor to almost the same as of the gouache paints. Working on a series of pictures based in a fish and chip shop

I set my eyes on spring onions for the first time in my life after picking up this past Sunday's farm produce box. They were so beautiful! I also found the container of scraps for the compost inspiring as I invented a soup out of my new bounty.

Chores are taking over

It started with my lovely daughter was having some bad dreams. She hung this above her head and said it helped so much. "Sweet Dreams" sisser...

Honestly I was just sitting w/ friends and asked for a piece of paper. Sketched this w/ a mechanical pencil (ugh) in about 20-30 min. But just showing something fanciful and beautiful in vastness looking above.
