Sometimes I like to draw things in the reverse (filling in the light areas, leaving the dark areas bare) and then flip them to see how I did. Today's warmups turned out pretty well. My favorite is the kid on the top, whose head & hair echo the strawberry shape. I wish I'd distinguished the girl's legs from the dog's body on the left more, but overall, not bad.

Color pencil sketch filled in with Copic Marker and highlights with Uniball Signo gel pen. Drawing of Sailor Jupiter and her famous bento (with a fork because I’m awful :0 ).

This unique black & white abstract design comes alive with gold, silver and bronze highlights. In sizes 6" x 8" to 16" x 20".

While on my drive home, at each red light, I drew in my sketchbook without looking. All shapes and things were from things I was seeing as I drove home. I then colored it in.

A while back, I jumped into a global property deal, saying folks like me could cash in on hot foreign housing scenes. Real estate - sure, everyone knows it prints money, a big-time industry worldwide. It looked solid at first - they showed me online walkthroughs of places I partly owned, got me pumped.
