Looking at Trichrug hill from the top of Pen Arthur Forest. This was my first attempt at pen and wash in 2018. I was pleased with it for an initial effort. I struggle to be loose with my art, so this was a step forward. The only thing that really bugs me was my colour choice for the distant hills - it looks more like the sea.
Cefan Sidan is an immense sandy beach in Carmarthenshire. The site of several shipwrecks, with some to still be found in the sands, the beach stretches for miles. This view is in winter looking towards the Gower.

My first foray into acrylics from 2017. At the time, I wasn't that happy with it, but it sold within a day of posting it on social media. Looking at it now, I like how loose it was.
I think I've finally come up with a design for the Altitone crew that is actually appealing to children. All the previous designs had always looked like nightmares: no eyes, sharp teeth, faceplates, and most of all; they were all white --- and not all cats, rabbits, and bears are white. So, I needed to make them resemble animals a little more. And I did! I'm certainly going to keep revising these designs, though. But for now, I introduce you to the V1 Liz Cat's band! haven't drawn her in a very long time but other than that she was fun to draw!she's the third female demon OC I created back when I was 17,she had a much more different look and she looked less like an demon princess and more like a succubus.I still haven't designed a crown for her yet I might give her some jeweled headband instead.she hides her eyes because as a royal she thinks that she should not have them exposed at all even though Eltrakarians have a lot of eyes.She is good friends with Prince Fedren,she is also older than him.perhaps I will make more of these OC drawings with descriptions soon.I forgot to include a color palette but I'll save it for a redraw or for another character drawing.

The M capturer before Jester had a mental breakdown. It's basically just a recolored Springlocker, a suit which looks like an Altitone animatronic, but hollowed out so a person could fit in. I did this artwork for a public art exhibition called "Home is where the Art is". Initially the drawing was supposed to just be a open mouth with a snake coming out of it but I felt that it lacked a story and a strong enough message so I drew the other snakes on and added the 2 other faces. The story behind this image is entirely up to the viewer but my take on it was that different people react differently to certain information, my main focus was the distribution of secrets and since many teenager refer to people that let their secrets loose as snakes I thought why not depict it in that form. The drawing displays three reactions to learning another's secret, one passes the secret on to another, the other defends it ferociously in your face but lets it slip loose when nobodies looking and the other receives the information and holds onto it

Yes, indeed, this is a foot. A foot that has taken up 5 months of my life but here we are. For some context, I'm lucky to be able to take 2 art classes this year (senior year perks, I suppose) especially given the strict scheduling connected to the STEM program I'm in. I'm taking Studio Drawing, and this is my first Bargue drawing. Definitely different than what I'm used to doing (and not the most interesting to look at), definitely mildly infuriating at times, but it's done.
This drawing, with a bit of watercolour, was done years ago in North Vancouver during a figure drawing session. Probably 15 - 20 minutes. Watercolour, subtly employed, can have wonderful affects. The challenge of working fast forced me to ditch excess thinking. And it's funny, because at first I thought, "Oh, this is terrible." Then the next day, with fresh eyes, or checking out the drawing in a mirror, I think, "Wow! How did I not see how good this is?" Never throw out your artwork immediately after a drawing session. Give them a few days and look at your work with fresh eyes.
I was expirimenting with lighting, and it kind of ended up looking like she was staring into a campfire. That, combined with the puffy jacket, and it turned into a camping scene. Always open to feedback, thanks!
A suit I designed for a fantasy SWAT (TSWATT, or the Taured Special Weapons And Tactics Team). They have wings which can fold into themselves, so far that they cannot be seen unless you look behind the back. They have special long fall boots (sort of like the ones from Portal) that allow them to fall from great heights. They have special glass goggles that act as sort of a VR set, in which they can see through smoke and walls if the area they are in is mapped out. I did this for a Skillshare class. It’s about how giants feel overwhelming but that there is victory in Jesus. I wanted the problem to look impossible and big but show that she knows that God will be enough for her to overcome. It encourages me sometimes to make stuff like this.
Okay, so, even though I was certainly not born in the times of Showbiz Pizza Place, I am still in love with it. My favorites are Billy Bob, Looney Bird, Rolfe Dewolfe, and Uncle Klunk (but saying that I have favorites makes it look like I don't love them all...).
