Like I said getting a good likeness of someone in a portrait is a very tenuous grasp...I start out well...looks like them...hey I captured that...just a little off...Oh Crap! Still, I keep trying.
I tried to catch my breath after all the running; I finally got to the bus stop. The wind was blowing vigorously, the rain clouds were approaching. It was a very typical spring morning.
I've recently made a card display for my cards and prints at an art space I'm exhibiting in for a while. Had to doodle the back, I couldn't not the doodle the back, which I think adds to the charm of my display being handmade and selling my merch... There's a HOW TO post on my blog if you fancy giving it a go yourself...
After 1-2 week ago i had a lot of work and had a stress. So on this weekend in a evening i went out for relax time with my closefriend and enjoy with jazz song night. Then I come back to sketch with watercolor for my memory.
I'm working on a series of childhood stuffed animals versus child monsters (i.e. the safety of home vs the real world and its bullies). I haven't done the monsters yet, but here are the stuffed animals. I drew them from memory as opposed to referencing what Cheer Bear and Rainbow Brite's dog looked like. I looked after. I didn't get them quite right. That's OK; I think the wonkiness adds to the charm. These are drawn in reverse for a woodcut effect, then scanned and printed and gone over with gouache and watercolor.
Recently I've started a new series of spoooky illustrations! I'll be making a paranormal painting for each letter of the alphabet and the ten numerals. Stay tuned for more!
Thank you for checking my work out. This work is Inspired by an instinct to survive and strive to conquer all obstacles that hold me back in life, especially from my Art. This is pencil drawing on paper then pen work then some editing using android app.
This was made months ago since i was a imgur user but that website was not for artists so i moved to here. Have fun. It's the truth that this is original and if you see this in other websites that is because i posted it in 3 websites: tacticsoft community, imgur and here. Pencil on Paper. Doing portraits is difficult for me...I never seem to be able to capture a persons likeness in a drawing, however if that person is wearing a helmet...
I painted this doll with the face of a middle aged woman. I like how distressed she looks, and the glasses complete the look. I sew on hair, but it just made her look normal so I removed it.
