The pink flower vine butterfly is inspired by a a mailbox I walked by during my lunch break. These vibrant pink flowers were wrapped around the entire box. I thought 'what a romantic way to receive your mail.'.

I thought I was finished with all my hand-designed shoes yesterday, and then I received this pair in the mail today (originally blank white) from my grandmother with money and a request to do them to match my “Abstract Moon and Flowers” design that she recently bought as a jacket on RageOn. Mixed media. Acrylic, pencil, digital. This is a piece from the book “Mail Me Art - Medium Without A Message” by @littlechimpsociety. I think it was the second call for entries/book.There are now 4 books filled with awesome art drawn and painted on outsides of envelopes and packages by artists all over the world who then mailed them to the UK totally exposed to the postal service. The original was all analog. I brought this into Procreate and reworked it. I may do more when I get a chance but I’m pretty satisfied with it now.
This is a 6x9 mixed media page in a sketchbook that is dedicated to Halloween cats. I scan these pages and then do 4x6 prints and mail them to my mom. Usually a draw a daily cat and mail it but mom’s memory is going so sending her print postcards of the Halloween cards ensures she doesn’t lose an original. I’ll go back to the original kitties next month.
