I took the skulls of monkeys/apes I'd drawn about a year ago and incorporated them into some new collages that include mandalas I did about a month or two ago. Cutting, cutting, cutting, paper everywhere. I'm a huge mess. The second one is Billy / Jigsaw from Saw!
I always loved the wide-eyed screaming horror of Elsa’s original Bride, but for mine I thought it would be fun if she was instead just very, very, displeased. As soon as her motor-functions kick in, it’s gonna kick off, and Doctors Frank’ and Pretorius are gonna take a very short walk off that very high tower.
On the set of the original movie, attached to one of the columns, you can see a big wheel that’s used to crank open the skylight. I thought it might be interesting to incorporate this, symbolically, as a sort of halo, like the kind of thing you see in stained glass windows and old religious art, and to give the scene an additional sixth day creation kinda vibe.
Also, whilst working on this, every time I thought of the name “Pretorius”, I would involuntarily sing it in my head to the tune of, “No, No, Notorious”
In wanting to get active with my fellow doodler community, I wanted to stop in and introduce myself. My name is Dalton Stark, I live in Texas, and i'm a doodle addict, and an advocate for the possibility of anything. For me, doodling is my purest state of being human. My sketchbooks are a very sacred place for me to practice this expressive and arcane form of imagination meditation, which I'm always trying to find more excuses to spend more time in. It is to me, all about intuition, making discoveries, surprising yourself, having fun and maybe even making yourself and others smile or laugh sometimes. I'm not really satisfied with how it turned out,I'll definitely redesign her again soon.Shes a succubus I originally drew when I was 17 along with an Incubus named Dezeo.My inspiration came from marvel's Satana Hellstrom,I read a few comics on her.Like a lot of succubuses she drains the energy of young men and later gets rid of them.Adult Erik and Bernard were almost her victims until Gerard banishes her for good.she prefers draining the energy of young, handsome,adult men than doing what succubuses are supposed to do since it's easier for her and she likes being dominant over them.she becomes angry quickly and will fight with magic,but when she's extremely angry she turns into a hideous monstrosity (which is her true form)if anyone sees her true form,they will die.i didn't upload a sketch because I accidentally deleted it
Another Oc who I haven't drawn in a while due to his original design being difficult,Now Tenebris has five fingers and four toes and finally...a tail.he looked more like a grey skinned person than a demon before.he is shirtless since male shadow demons are shirtless but I may give him an open button down shirt instead.Since it was my first attempt,next time I probably will make a reference sheet for him and other ocs.
