I didn't know numbats are a thing! Came across this amazing little endangered marsupial when I was trying to decide which N animal to paint. They eat only termites (hence the recipes ;)). Part of a series where I'm painting animals in different styles. Today's was inspired by the art of Beatrix Potter. Digital watercolor, pointed pen, and colored pencil.
Even though I have alot of other drawing to share, here's one for the holidays. It's Ms.Chalice from "Cuphead" and Penny from "Enchanted Portals" enjoying some Christmas cheer.
"One may stray from the path of a man, one may stray from the path of a woman, but there is no straying from the path of a Human! All friends must scatter into the sky of truth, and blossom!, Okama Way!" - Bon Clay
"Nobody knows why he is here, someday he just appeared. Some say that he roams this realm and is in constant search for specific girl.He is supposed to be her guardian I guess.I hope he finds her, because his presence here terrifies me"-Villager of Groza
Remember when I said Timothy T Cup would get revenge every now and then? Well, he specializes in zombies. Plus he's getting back at Ms.Chalice for posessing him. (See Drawtober23 Day 10 "Posession") Also as some trivia. Tje zombie clown is actually an amalgamation of Beppi the Clown's concept designs from "The Art of Cuphead"book.
I made a Zine called "Famous Bottoms" - it's a quiz with 12 watercolour paintings of famous bottoms (painted by me). This one is #8 and I assume most people will recognise it! But how many of the others would you know? If you'd like a copy of the Zine, you can buy it at https://LindsayBakerArt.square.site for $AU8.00 plus shipping :)
While most of my pieces are usually fantasy and manga based, I do try to get outside that box. The same goes for mediums used as well. Here's a bit of still life of a ramen cup because I admit to having a bit of an obsession with ramen. I do like to cook myself but I tend to cut corners somedays as well...
