(HB pencil on 110mm x 78mm paper) When doing this form of automatic drawing, strange characters and weird objects do take shape, leaving the rest of the image as dream construct.

I started a project of hunt illustrations, where things in the image need to be found. In this, the objects were: Lost iPhone, murder weapon, portal to another world, glass half empty and banana. (This is the pre-digital illustration which I don’t usually share but felt like a change!)

I'm doodling on the back of a puzzle we got for Christmas. I'm just not ready to part ways with the Thomas Kincaid cabin on the other side.

I like to add a level of maturity to the cats of my daily calendar. Looking fabulous, aren't they?

I have many odd objects in my house, but I think the oddest is the 3D printed model of my teeth (with my braces on them). Long story short, these had to be made when I got my retainers, but I was lucky enough to be able to take them and my braces home. (Don't worry, I thoroughly disinfected and cleaned the braces before gluing them on.) I genuinely forgot I had this, so finding them kind of startled me at first.

Just a little White-Out & Sharpie brought this yogurt to life!

This a good brain drawing exercise and it helped me to practice something different aside from actual objects. I recommend giving Miss Betsi a view on Youtube if you want to learn how to do these designs yourself.

Done in graphite and watercolor. Something I like to do is take everyday mundane objects and try to make them unnerving, etc.

I'm a big nerd for fictional characters with an inanimate object for a head --- Phone guy, Flug, Ball guy, etc.. So, I made my own! He's got static for a head, which makes a low buzzing sound. It can morph into outlines of objects. They can talk, too, without a mouth, by making different pitches of humming with the static, if you catch my drift. I'm not sure how they can see, yet, but I'll think of something. The hoodie they have on is a reference to Pokemon Red and Green's cover art. His name shall be Cameron! Drawn with FireAlpaca.

Anoia is an actual Goddess, and not a Patron Saint, but I really wanted to draw her. Anoia is the Goddess of Things That Get Stuck in Drawers, a minor goddess on the Discworld (by Terry Pratchett - and if you don't know who he is, you should read his books! You can start with Small Gods -it is a standalone in the Discworld world. Or Guards! Guards! is another good choice). When someone rattles a drawer and cries "How can it close on the damned thing but not open with it? Who bought this? Do we ever use it?", even though the person might be genuinely irritated or even exasperated, it is as praise unto Anoia. Faithful Anoians (worshippers of Anoia) purposefully rattle their drawers and complain every day. Anoia also finds objects that roll under other objects and things stuck in sofa cushions, and is considering handling stuck zippers. She eats corkscrews. Her name is clearly derived from "annoy". Anoia she was formerly the volcano goddess Lela. Hi, I know it’s been a while since I posted something but I got locked out of my phone last week and it took the whole week to get it unlocked and I’m just now getting back online. I also took a few days to think about the kind of art i want to post to this account. I started this year doing a 365 day challenge to draw something every single day but of course life is unpredictable no matter how much you prepare for it and posting every single day having something creative to share on Instagram did not work, so instead of posting every single day I’m just gonna post two or three times a week. I’m going to post stuff that I like that I’m proud of, that’s worthy of mentioning about. Soooo ,look forward to that | (• ◡•)| P.S. I’ve realized I like drawing and painting on objects more then I do canvas and paper which is why my future projects are mostly on objects.

Often I am given to making marks on paper that reflect the objects I see coming towards me as I gaze out the front car window. I do this exercise as a passenger of course. The goal is not the end product, but the process of connecting what I see with motor control. The product is an indication of movement and energy. Give it a try!
