From my book turned sketchbook "SAVARI – an illustrated journey through Iran & India" is finally out!
SAVARI is a collection of drawings from my sketchbook from five months of Iran & India. It‘s a travelogue full of drawings, sketches, poems and notes,
(Red biro on a 89mm x 139mm postcard) When technology becomes so intrusive on our daily lives that we feel we simply can't live without it, then perhaps the one-eyed man is truly king.
(2B pencil on a 140mm x 88mm postcard) The reliance on devices seeing the rise of mindless techzeds (tech zombies). Dead, but kept alive by those same devices they couldn't live without as a warning to others.
(2B pencil on a 198mm x 124mm book title page) Profanity is a common form of blasphemy. Here, I've used it in a similar way as you'd see fonts used in the old Letraset catalogues. Plus, nobody says "fadge" anymore, and that used to be a good swear-word.
