I have been listening to astrophysicist's broadcasts a lot this days. Few I like the most are Joe Rogans's with Neil deGrasse Tyson, Brian Cox, Sean Carroll. They talk about obviously space, extra terrestrial life but also religion, people, psychology. I realised that when you think at cosmos level or at subatomic level, the things we worry about in day to day life feel very less compared to the vastness out there or in us. So I think it is very important to get out of the city, to find clear sky and look at the stars up there. It gives a surprising energy which I don't know how to describe but feels powerful.

I got Procreate a bit ago and it took me too long to figure it out and learn how to work with it. I was so used to my old program that starting all over got pretty discouraging. I finally finished my first procreate portrait! There are a few things I’m not happy about but I’m not sure how to fix them. Any ideas and advice are super welcome!!!

I was testing a Rotring Rapid Pro 2mm and this came out. Inked with a burgundy Custom 743 EF, an underrated workhorse of a pen.

I know it’s a little early to start thinking about the next decade, but I needed the inspiration...

I destroyed this water color painting while removing the stick tape. But then to think about it, The Joker is also an error created by the society and thus a human error. He came fine in this world but the world hasn't been kind to him. And that revered back as an ultimate Villain as Joker to the society. So ultimately the two errors met up on this page.

It’s always good to find some drawing time on vacation. We went to some weird random small towns in Washington and a ghost town called Burke with some particularly interesting history. I had Cheers playing on my phone while I drew this but no similarity is intended. It’s a classic show but it would have been better without the distracting laugh tracks.

This is a new character I'm working on for an illustration class. Doing it with a black background makes me think about it a little different.

I recently bought an iPad Pro and I'm trying out the various drawing apps. This minstrel was made in Adobe Fresco. I still feel like there's a lot to get used to but overall I'd call this a success.

Injured - That time when Jon Snow and Ghost were injured from the long night battle with the undead. They surprisingly survived but not without injuries and losses. This scene where they were together resting and recovering did not happened in the tv show, but I can imagine it did! All about repetition and perfection

That time when Samwell Tarly tasked himself to save Ser Jorah Mormont from greyscale. It was not an easy task since it requires the removal of one scale at a time! Also every time the scale was removed, the skin oozes, so yeah, not a very pleasant sight! In the beginning, it would make Sam woozy or dizzy, but he was able to complete the task! Spirals added for embellishment of course! This was oddly chosen for adobeawards stories feature. Just another test - working file to try and establish the feel of the book - problem i am having is book for adults, tweens, or kids - is it too scary? In the end there are a million things that harbour self doubt so better to just "do" instead of think too hard about it. - again just a test.

A working page for a book i am developing about vampires. i starts with a raw ink sketch, gets scanned and i work them up on a xp pen tablet - but this is just experimental - and not final.

I lost my momentum after being out of town all weekend and now I'm just doodling pretty faces. And I know I'm the queen of taking bad pics of them. Oh well. At least you get a peek, right? .

This tree is right outside the balcony at my parents' home. I can spend hours just starting at the fronds. This must be the fourth or fifth time I've sketched out.

Folktale Week Day1: Home. This is a folktale about the ghost of a woman who lived at Heceta Head Lighthouse Her baby died when she fell off the cliff outside their home. Tragic!

Tread - That time when Meera and Jojen Reed follow the treads of Hodor, Osha, and Rickon to find Bran Stark so they can take him north of the Wall. Bran would sometimes warg into Summer and/or Hodor and follow their treads. - I love the Reed siblings- they left all the warmth of their home to travel north to find Bran and to take him even further north to find the Three-eyed Raven. Meera is the unsung hero who kept Bran safe throughout the entire journey. It’s too bad how things were left off between Bran and Meera at the end.
