Sketching in the bus :)
I really suck at portraits I think.. I probably should practice more... If any of you have tips I would love to know, please tell me in the comments!
What do you see?
I usually don't have a plan when I put my pen to the paper. A lot of the time, I just draw what comes to me and sometimes it starts to form into other "bigger" shapes/objects like this one.
This was drawn with a Japanese fountain pen, Japanese ink, and painted with Japanese watercolor. To be specific - I used Holbein watercolor and Platinum Carbon Black in a Pilot Falcon. This trio is perfect for me.
I also like using just black ink. Lately, I've been using this Platinum Preppy extra fine for my doodling. I like how different kinds of pens and tools can sometimes give different art.
