I had to make good ol Saint Benedict! Complete with his symbols, the Rule, Pastoral Staff and Our Monastic Habit! :D This is a super monk-ey picture. :P St. Benedict, pray for us!
This is an experiment, I was trying to make a paper doll. I haven't cut out the pieces yet, but I'll post a picture tomorrow with the doll wearing the clothes. I also experimented with shading on the hair, and a different way of drawing it. I'm really sorry the picture is on it's side, I will fix that next time I do one of these.
100x70cm. cardboard, mix materials
The people in the button do not see anything attractive, the attention given to him is current and lasts until the buttoned some clothing item which wants to wear. With us in the World of Fantasy, fortunately, this is not the case, we give the buttons a deserved attention which they fully deserve. A man lacking a button, for example, on the shirt, we inhabitants of the World of Fantasy are avoided, because we believe it brings bad luck, such people can cast a spell on anyone. It is even more dangerous to meet a man without a button on the slit, or, God forbid, unbuttoned slit. It is certainly a dangerous man of wild impulses ready for violence against anyone in order to satisfy their needs. On the other hand, people who have a nice and tastefully selected button on their clothes are highly appreciated. Those more experienced among us will carefully look at each button on a person - the buttons should not be damaged and scratched.
Of course, in the World of Fantasy, there are the Button - beings, the creatures that everyone wants in their vicinity. Those dear creatures are attracted to himself materials and crystals, who are constantly working on the relaxation of a person close to them. Even watching the picture where they are
Button - beings (confirmed by scientific and empirical research!) relaxing the spirit and body, raising the level of health to the stairs more. It is for you, dear reader, to take advantage of this fact, here is your free relaxation! Those who doubt these words of Old Bone make a mistake - to yourself to the detriment!
A3 format, acrylic, mixed technique
We sat around the campfire, talked about everything a bit when someone asked:
- Can you tell us your thoughts about death?
Old Bone is pulled pipe from the backpack, filled it with tobacco and lit. We have been waiting patiently for the response of this unusual being, deep age, and great living experience.
- Everyone would like to know the truth about death, whether it is the full end of life or a new beginning, " said Old Bone - It is wiser to ask questions about life, the purpose of life, and keeping the spark. Truly, few are looking for the truth about life. I believe that with only the complete knowledge of life, one can perceive what is happening after death.-
- How to explain the messages of the dead through the media, learning religions about reincarnation, heaven, and hell, eternal life, testimonies of survivors of clinical death?
- Fraud and delusions, speculation - calmly replied Old Bone - You must know one thing: there are doors between life and death, The Door Keeper will never let the living know what happens after death. The secret of death only he knows - and that's enough. I think life can only survive this way.

My tribute to my good friend who died earlier this year. Another white pastel on black paper. Not my favourite media but I love the effect of it. I need to practice more as I can't get my head around working on negative lol, erasing to get shadows and filling in to get highlights etc. I used a chunky white stick and a white pastel pencil but detail still eludes me lol. It's a technique I need to refine. It's the second picture of a dead person I've put on, apart from humph, so I'm a cheery little soul aren't I lol? Thanks for looking
Very sad pencil drawing of a young friend who lost her life aged 37, in a freak car accident in 2017.She left 2 young sons and a husband to raise them alone. I gave him this picture as a gift, a tribute to a lovely lady who is no more....
The inspiration for this collection came from a conversation I had with the Founder and Executive Director of the Underprivileged And Underserved Foundation (UAUF), George Goodwine. While discussing race and whether or not every opportunity was fair based upon someone’s familial structure or “starting line,” I was asked the following questions. How does someone overcome these hurdles? How can the playing field be leveled to make things fairer, when others may only have 50 hurdles to overcome in the same competition?
My response was simple. “The person in front of 150 hurdles has two choices. They can either get discouraged before they begin, or start jumping. In the midst of the race they might get tired, unsure, or discouraged, but if they press on to the finish line they may become more physically fit than the person who jumps over 50.”
I used to dance ballet and at the time, there were a lot of hurdles I had to overcome solely based upon inconveniences that came with being raised in low-income, single parent home. Above are pencil sketches and sharpie drawings that I have drawn from actual photos. I plan on making these images my own by adding more abstraction and vibrant color to them.
Over the course of the project, stay tuned to see how these pictures will transform into a work of ART!!! Check out my artwork at theservingartist.com
There was a royal lineage in Europe that was so inbred that their jaws started getting really distended and weird. Like Jay Leno, but inbred. (I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.) Feel free to look up the Hapsburgs. I'll wait. The second picture is a Fiji mermaid and a merman. I think I want a merman tattoo. SMOLDER.
I originally drew this picture I think a year ago, but I never colored it. So I thought I would color it in to see how far I have come with coloring and shading. I think I have come very far.
This super unflattering self portrait comes with a good reason. I bought a magazine about watercolor painting today, thinking looking at beautiful pictures in bed would calm me down before sleep. Didnt happen! An invitation to a spring-themed contest was announced, putting my brain to work in high speed. After 3 hours i gave up sleeping and started some preparation work. Draping my head in a scarf, filming myself in the worst possible angle and making a rough sketch was first step. Hopefully i can get some sleep now.
Leo..wasnt the best at taking pictures for his school page. But at least the cat ones look good, right? No he just stole them from one of his favorite games. Dammit Leo! (still tired and sleepy..honk mimimimimimi but i have no clue what to draw next honsetly. IM THINKING OF STUFF I THINK, THE SIDE PHOTOS ARE CATTAIL FROM PLANTS VZ ZOMBIES. I LIKE CATTAIL!!!!) This picture, among my many others, was created by following the doodle lines made in a minute. The figure and composition was FOUND from the loops in between... without alterations. https://youtu.be/xOa42BwxOx4
