A far cry from how I usually draw. The lineart is messy and I colored sloppily, with the watercolor brush. This guy is the first out of three paint moster generations --- yes, this guy is made of white paint. The mahogany lines aren't blood, but rather mahogany paint. A quick group portrait I made to try making a timelapse of the process. The timelapse is posted to my instagram account. This time, I used brown and yellow bister ink on watercolor paper. Normally I paint the monsters themselfves, but now I used negative painting to create them.

I haven't posted for awhile. The only thing I seem to be able to do right now, besides boring traditional student work (does anyone really want to see endless figure studies? I think not) is this weird graphic Journal. It may be the only thing I do for awhile here.
I know this isn't an elaborate piece and I know I've posted different cards before, but I just wanted to wish everyone a merry Christmas and happy holidays! (H pencil on a 139mm x 87mm postcard) A dreamscape image (automatism) which seems to show a woman with folded arms, stood by a wall. The figure was the main thing which became prominent at the Rorschaching stage of the work, and apart from the faint hint of a wall, the rest was dream construct.

Project for my health class. It's supposed to be a fingerprint, and the words written in are all postitive things, whether they are quotes or things I like. Thought this would be fitting for the "doodle" aspect. Drawn with FireAlpaca.
