Today’s Inktober prompt was pressure, so here’s the original Captain Marvel AKA Shazam straining to prevent a big rock (The Rock of Eternity?) from crashing to earth. Yes, I’m a comics geek.

While "piggy-backing" at a friend's watercolor class this afternoon the subject of mushrooms came up. This is my quick rendering of a mushroom in Procreate on my first gen iPad using my Sensu stylus. Shadows will be addressed in next week's class but unfortunately I will be gone. I definitely need more practice with shadows.
There's a series, one of many, I've been slowly getting the motivation to work on. This character is one of a few. I'm going to working on facial expressions and then full body drawings.

This is my own take on Yoai’s mini chibi tutorial for Bonnie. You can find this in her book ‘mini chibi art class: a complete course in drawing cuties & beasties’. I wanted to follow her tutorial but also give my own style while doing so. This was done in procreate.

Il illustre un drapeau des États Unis d'Amérique blanc et rouge sur laquelle des étoiles à cinq pointe et astérisque, jaune, bleu, rouge, noir et blanc. I haven't posted on a while but here's more digital art! I think I shaped the eyes wrong so now they just look sad but hey, I'm learning! I didn't have time to give details to the hair since I was focused on the face, but I like the shape of it. What do you think? Let me know if you have any suggestions to improve this, thanks!

I rarely do pieces with a full color background, landscapes and all. But I really enjoyed doing this piece. It shows a place and character from my novel project "The Hidden Kingdoms". Drawn in pencil, then scanned and colored digitally.
