A whimsical yet haunting reflection on the passage of time, From Time to Time imagines a fragile machine built to bend reality itself. The “Tempus Machina” stands as both invention and relic — humming with promise but tethered by a frayed cord and a warning: Watch Your Step. The cracked wall, warped floorboards, and distorted clock hint that tampering with time comes at a cost. Ghost_Recursive, or just Ghost, is a character in my new story Metropolis Subatlantica. He's 94, has cybernetic implants, and can control many robots simultaneously with his powerful mind. He is a loner in life, but very influential online. Some view him as a prophet. He is usually found levitating in his quarters while jacked into the line.

Nitescape. The mysterious going city across the great ocean, far away from Nornwan and far forgotten, but they have not forgotten. They still have hints of the old world in their dome of cyber charged pessimism. A steam titan from the elder age, long forgotten. But this mammoth of gears and levers has not fogotten it's purpose. It delves through stone, and rock and mineral and earth. It hasn't stopped since the master's last order. The very nature of this machine is loyalty itself. Sometimes the scavengers follow it, picking up the remains it leaves behind in its search. What is it searching for? The center of the Earth? Nirvana? Hell for us ?
Many a strange thing lay in the world of Nornwan. Was it always so? Mayhaps...

So I had this idea for a series; fun, whimsical paintings of pet rocks. Full of personality, sweet, make you laugh, that kind of vibe. First one I draw is this. I was so horrified by it I haven't drawn another one since. I'm not kidding; I'm actually quite upset to discover I can't draw "sweet". Or maybe it was a bad day.
