The registration fee was steep at $16,300 but the event’s reputation seemed to justify it.The only odd detail was that payment had to be made exclusively in cryptocurrency, specifically Bitcoin. The site explained this as a secure and efficient way to process international payments. Trusting the recommendation I sent the Bitcoin equivalent of $16,300 to the provided wallet address. Minutes later the transaction showed as confirmed on the blockchain and I received an email with a QR code labeled as my official badge.
