I rarely do pieces with a full color background, landscapes and all. But I really enjoyed doing this piece. It shows a place and character from my novel project "The Hidden Kingdoms". Drawn in pencil, then scanned and colored digitally.

Used one of the pictures I snapped for this draw.

Trying some Nagomi art. It's supposed to be healing and I have to say it is fun and relaxing. I will definitely try some more of these.

This was a commission for a Magic The Gathering Goblin token. A goblin riding a squirrel, wielding a spoon and wearing a bucket for a helmet. He may or may not actually be dunk in a tavern getting a bit too into a story he is telling.

Glaucomys sabrinus, northern flying squirrel has belly fur that is gray at the base. Flying squirrels might more appropriately be called “gliding squirrels” because they aren’t capable of true powered flight that a pterosaur, a bird or a bat can do. Not comic related but I needed a break from writing and had a 3-colour-art-challenge to finish so two birds one stone.

I practiced the colors with these watercolor pencils. I realized I didn't have enough color. Size: A/4 , Tools: white gel pen, "Faber-Castell Colour GRIP" watercolor pencils, watercolor paper

Based on photo but different this drawing from the original picture. I drew it a few months ago. I used Derwent Academy, Staedtler and Fiorello colour pencils. I don’t drew many color pictures yet because I don't have enough pencils.

This is number 8, out of 9 illustraitions. This illustration portrays Jesus after he dies on the cross. Biblical reference : Mark 15 : 33-39 33 At noon, darkness came over the whole land until three in the afternoon. 34 And at three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eloi, Eloi, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).[b] 35 When some of those standing near heard this, they said, “Listen, he’s calling Elijah.” 36 Someone ran, filled a sponge with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. “Now leave him alone. I t is my opinion that Mel Gibson’s portrayal of the brutality the Roman soldier inflicted on the body of Jesus, through the beatings and the 39 lashes with the cat of nine tails. This event was never visually captured in arts, until he made his movie The Passion of the Christ. Many don’t know what a cat of nine tales is, Roman style. A cat of nine tails are nine leather strap that are woven together at the handle. Each strap is laced with bone and other sharp objects. With each lash, flesh would be ripped from the victim’s body. Most of the illustration I have seen of the crucifixion of Jesus where quite sterile. They fail to illustrate the brutality. Their image of Jesus looks more like an under wear modal doing a photo shoot fore GQ magazine, Then the savor having the wrath of God being pored on his body for the payment of our sins. In this painting, I am place my viewer in the soldiers shoes, who just witnessed Jesus committing His spirit into God’s hands. An attempt and color blending when painting. Not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong

I figured I'd post a progress picture of the Elton John drawing I started 2-ish weeks ago. I'm coloring it based off the album booklet (from 'Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player'), so the colors in the actual picture are a bit more yellow/orange (just in case you were questioning the color choices). This has been a project I really enjoy; it's pretty relaxing.

Not really a good piece this one but I felt like putting this out there to release some suppressed emotions.

Remember that intro for the Goosebumps TV Series? At the start a mysterious man overlooks a town, carrying a briefcase with the name R.L Stine etched on it... And as it flung open all his stories were released and carried into wind... This is my version of it, only instead of R.L Stine it was myself and my pictures of all the grotesque horror drawings were released

I forgot that this prompt was for last week, but I figured I'd upload this anyway. It's definitely a simple drawing; I think it turned out pretty okay. I rarely use markers and I don't usually draw mythical creatures/aliens, so this was pretty interesting to do.

A more recent work of mine from a series of pieces I made revolving around an original character who was a political prisoner of a dystopian space-faring setting.
