A drawing for someone I somehow met from the corner of the internet, his original character Runali. A few years of ups and downs, but there were many struggles due to poor mental health. In the end as things heal, we gradually recognised our differences and decided to take different paths.
The story behind this is that when my little sister and I were kids, we invented a game called Blammer. You duct tape small trashcans to your back and try to slam a sock ball into your opponents basket. We used tennis rackets for defense. We used to terrorize our parents with all the running and yelling in the house. We're in our 30's now and try and play when we see each other. I call her Chicken and she calls me Ducky. Which is why we're are riding birds. One of my favorite pieces I've ever done. A birthday present for her.
Joan Miró (1893-1983)
Miró always maintained a rigidly inflexible daily routine—both because he disliked being distracted from his work, and because he feared slipping back into the severe depression that had afflicted him as a young man, before he discovered painting. To help prevent a relapse, his routine always included vigorous exercise—boxing in Paris; jumping rope and Swedish gymnastics at a Barcelona gym; and running on the beach and swimming at Mont-roig, a seaside village where his family owned a farmhouse.
Miró hated for this routine to be interrupted by social or cultural events. As he told an American journalist, “Merde! I absolutely detest all openings and parties! They’re commercial, political, and everybody talks too much. They get on my tits!”

Keeping occupied pre-Samhuinn and Halloween night yet again, because I can’t keep the pen down this time around in the immediate run-up for some reason!
Journey presents a surrealist setting where a man is rowing his boat through a wondrous landscape, surrounded by buildings and stones with strange symbols and runes. A bright heavenly light illuminates the traveller's origin while a stark contrast is made with the vibrant blue light, from behind the walls, of this mysterious sunken building. #21 B.o.B. (snes) fanart - This is just some Bob fan-art drawn on magma (dot) com using an iPad pro. B.o.B. is a run and gun platformer game on SNES that came out in 1993. I remember my next-door neighbor owned this game on super Nintendo but overall, the gameplay did not leave a good impression. The music is printed on my brain, but I don’t recommend giving the game a try. The box art was my only reference.
"The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice." - John 10:2-5 (NIV). And, apparently, they really do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e45dVgWgV64
for the 8th of Chibijuly today it's up to dancing
For this day I decided to draw Hero Cookie and Cheerleader Cookie in a chibi version as the protagonists of one of my favorite classic animated movies, cats don't dance ♥️..
Heard about a supposed art fight, got no idea what that is but I brung my sword to the fight..
Also I took advantage of this to try and study the style of @Dominik Mayer, @Artem Chebokha and @Andrew Maleski (once more)
I have a certain energy that runs through me, almost like a current. Balancing this energy can be quite a challenge, but I have found that meditation helps me to find my center. I like to quiet the noise around me and focus on my inner truth. Sometimes, I begin my meditation with my eyes closed, allowing my emotions to guide me in sketching out my experiences. This helps me to open up my channels of creativity, which I am currently using to work on my upcoming novel. I can't reveal too much about it yet, but I hope you will enjoy the sneak peeks I'll be sharing as I work toward completion.
[Intro]
(D-D-Dark side)
[Verse 1: Tomine Harket]
We're not in love
We share no stories
Just somethin' in your eyes
Don't be afraid
The shadows know me
Let's leave the world behind
[Chorus: Tomine Harket]
Take me through the night
Fall into the dark side
We don't need the light
We'll live on the dark side
I see it, let's feel it
While we're still young and fearless
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side
[Post-Chorus: Tomine Harket]
Fall into the dark side
Give in to the dark side
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side[Verse 2: Au/Ra]
Beneath the sky
As black as diamonds
We're runnin' out of time (Time, time)
Don't wait for truth
To come and blind us
Let's just believe their lies
[Pre-Chorus: Au/Ra]
Believe it, I see it
I know that you can feel it
No secrets worth keepin'
So fool me like I'm dreamin'
[Chorus: Tomine Harket & Au/Ra]
Take me through the night
Fall into the dark side
We don't need the light
We'll live on the dark side
I see it, let's feel it
While we're still young and fearless
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side
[Post-Chorus: Tomine Harket & Au/Ra]
Fall into the dark side
Give in to the dark side
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side[Bridge]
(D-D-Dark side)
(Dark side)
(Dark side)
(Dark side)
[Chorus: Tomine Harket & Au/Ra]
Take me through the night
Fall into the dark side
We don't need the light
We'll live on the dark side
I see it, let's feel it
While we're still young and fearless
Let go of the light
Fall into the dark side
Hey guys! Another post for y’all. The anatomy’s off and her face is goofy, but I tried my best :,). She’s running to someone while waving btw, if you were confused with what she’s doing.
