After a long day, it's pretty exciting to go home. Especially in the company of my closest friends, promising each other that tomorrow will be a better day.
"Retro 1" is a quick freehand drawing I created last year. Size of the original is 9" x 12". I used Posca pens on archival paper. Limited edition prints are available. A colour study for a larger piece. Unfortunately with the larger piece, I screwed up with the thick over thin rule and consequently, the paint cracked after a few months. Frustrated at having to start it again, but lesson learnt.
I feel lop eared dogs are so cute these days. And I realized my dog got a lot of ribbons from his groomer (She give my dog a lovely ribbon every time we go and I really like it so keep them). Then, I drew this. I want one more dog or a cat...

The meal was my attempt to bring a little comfort into the rugged outdoors. The sketch was my reminder—to hold onto the moment, even when mosquitoes, ashes, and deflating air mattresses had other plans.
