In Plain Sight

This quick sketch of an impressionist painting is a reminder to me of how we cannot see anything until we are taught to see it. I was enjoying the painting because of the way Tarbell captured light, when a man and his wife joined me. The man said to his wife: "This is a wonderful painting, but I wonder whose lap the baby is on.". I was shocked because I was not able to see the baby till he mentioned that there was one. I noticed that it was indeed difficult to tell whose lap it was on. It was a transformative and humbling experience.

Creating in like-minded company is a blissful experience, that much is true! Boy I’ve missed drawing clubs… :-)

I generally make marks on something every day, but I'm really TRYING to do it purposefully in one singular location (journal). Here is a successful attempt from that particular day. I'm also super lazy, which means I never go up to my actual studio and only use what's out on my computer desk.

Mail Art - Mixed Media
1/4

Mixed media. Acrylic, pencil, digital. This is a piece from the book “Mail Me Art - Medium Without A Message” by @littlechimpsociety. I think it was the second call for entries/book.There are now 4 books filled with awesome art drawn and painted on outsides of envelopes and packages by artists all over the world who then mailed them to the UK totally exposed to the postal service. The original was all analog. I brought this into Procreate and reworked it. I may do more when I get a chance but I’m pretty satisfied with it now.

Tool series: Tape measure

Another addition to my Tool Series—this time a tape measure, the symbol of accuracy, patience, and work ethic. I signed it with Patmore 25 as a nod to the years it has taken to become the artist I am today. Just graphite, ink, and intention… transformed into something that feels alive.

HACK ZACK TECH helped me regain faith in the cryptocurrency industry

HACK ZACK TECH helped me regain faith in the cryptocurrency industry Like many, I was drawn to the potential of Bitcoin as a lucrative investment. With excitement and high hopes for my financial future, I invested $52,000 in Bitcoin. The prospects seemed endless, and for a while, everything appeared to be on track. I watched as my investment grew, and I felt secure in the belief that this decision would pay off handsomely in the long run. But then, disaster struck. A security breach, a misplaced transfer, and an unexpected technical failure led to the loss of my entire Bitcoin investment. I was devastated. In an instant, the $52,000 I had worked so hard to accumulate was gone. I was paralyzed by shock and regret. What felt like a promising venture had turned into a nightmare. The weight of the loss was crushing, and I couldn’t fathom how I would recover from it. For weeks, I was in a state of disbelief. I tried contacting various recovery services, but each attempt ended in disappointment or frustration. It seemed like no one could help, and my hope for recovering my investment began to dwindle. The thought that I would never see my $52,000 again was overwhelming, and I was left wondering if my financial future was lost forever. I came onto HACK ZACK TECH at that point. I was dubious at first. I've been disappointed previously, and scammers abound in the cryptocurrency recovery industry. But after learning about HACK ZACK TECH track record and reading good reviews, I made the decision to give them a try. They appeared to be my final hope, and I had nothing left to lose. The road to recovery was not easy, and there were times when I felt anxious about the outcome. However, HACK ZACK TECH team was always responsive and diligent. They applied their deep knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency recovery strategies, and I could see that they were determined to help me every step of the way. Then, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, I received the news I had been praying for: my $52,000 in Bitcoin had been successfully recovered. The relief I felt was indescribable. What seemed like an impossible situation had been turned around, and thanks to HACK ZACK TECH, I had my investment back. This was a truly transforming event. I moved from a state of hopelessness and financial ruin to one of recuperation. In addition to returning my $52,000, HACK ZACK TECH helped me regain faith in the cryptocurrency industry. Their passion, professionalism, and knowledge were genuinely transformative. They turned my disaster into a success story, and I am forever grateful for their role in restoring my investment. Thanks to them, I now feel empowered to continue my journey in the world of cryptocurrency without the constant fear of loss."My sincere gratitude. Hygiene is Elementary

In this memory-driven piece, Patmore reconstructs the bathroom from his third-grade elementary school, capturing the sterile brightness, the tiled repetition, and the institutional reminder to “WASH YOUR HANDS.” But the scene is not pristine — a leaky sink, an out-of-order stall, and a taped-up sign reveal the quiet decay behind childhood places we assume were orderly and safe. Patmore blends nostalgia with unease, transforming a simple restroom into a study of what it means to grow up: how the lessons we learn early (“hygiene,” discipline, responsibility) stay with us even after the walls begin to crack. The small pop of blue tape emphasizes the DIY fragility of rules meant to guide us. This piece stands at the intersection of memory and maintenance — of spaces, of bodies, and of ourselves.
