Elijah Wood is one of the most talented actors around! We've seen him in Lord Of The Rings, and he's always great, but have you ever noticed any other films with this actor?
One of my first landscape experiments in Photoshop. Whereas I previously was working in GIMP. I just wanted to experiment with values and distance and fog and mist, etc. The female figure adds some story to the scene.
I modified the challenge a wee bit. I didn't use the same paper for the various drawings since I was using (top row, left to right) hard graphite pencils (3H to HB), watercolor pencils, (bottom row, left to right) brush pens and ballpoint pen. These media work best on very different paper textures and moisture absorbing qualities. The second picture shows the object of my study --- and the apparatus I use to hold botanical subjects. "Third hand" tools are very useful and cheap. This one was under $10 and serves my purposes well. Just FYI. (Each drawing/painting was scanned and composited in Photoshop.)
Yay! It's my Birthday! (Toon Link Windwaker style!). Hard to believe I'm 35 already :o (Oct. 29, 1986). All the seminarians sang happy birthday to me in english when I got my morning coffee. heh. hello ☺️ my friends and i went to a really nice pottery workshop and we had so much fun. I also started to learn playing the guitar some time ago. so i felt really inspired to make this study. really enjoyed drawing it ☺️

The last few days, I've been going through my drawing journals dating back to 1977, mainly to purge them, but also to reminiscence. I laughed at this comic- one of many that I had forgotten about- of a conversation with an artist friend I've known since 1984, when I went to visit in her pottery shop.
The little lady wants to go into the pond. Getting a bit damp is not a trouble. The trouble settles on the dark cat, who is getting rather interested with the butterfly. (Spoiler alert: of course, the little lady fell...)
